Why does a man talk about his relationship with God on the internet?
And he and his wife's relationship with God?
Why does a man talk about his wife's virginity on the internet?
Better yet, why does he talk about her virginity in the same thread wherein it is clear he de-flowered her prior to the marriage?
I wonder if that act was in the site of God. And what God thinks about that.
And this same man has the gall to criticize his sister's relationship with God.
The only thing sadder than the hypocrisy of the mans' rants is the situation of a virgin bride caught in matrimony with such a man.

You think anyone wants to hear about your old wrinkly as$ sleeping with your wife naked? Yet you continue to brag about it. The thought of a social security aged man and his exploits is beyond TMI for most people.

Ms. Squirrel reacted to visaveteran1 in Wife's son is moving out already. I have concerns.
Let me add my congrats to Sergey as well. He sounds like my natural son who's in a PhD program in physics and math. All I can say is he didn't get his gift for math & science from me.
So...I hate to pull this away from the celebration mode but as it started as my thread, I'll retake it for the moment.
OK, this is tough to put out openly but my wife and I are not getting along. AND, I have to say I have had the idea cross my mind as to whether I've been had...exploited? She's mentioned even divorce before and her attitude seems to have gotten worse since her son came over. If I was the suspicious type, I'd wonder if this is a visa scam or something similar? I mean, now her son's here for two months and my wife is going off on me every few days and already got him an apartment. She's even stated "I have to take care of them." I ask myself, where is the money for deposits and rent coming from? He makes $10 a hour before taxes. My wife makes about the same.
Of course, she says I'm a crazy Vietnam vet etc, etc. and I'm the problem. Let me be perfectly clear, I've spent a small fortune and put a LOT of energy into giving her the best life I can afford. And, just for the record, I've never laid a finger on her, both because that's not in my code of conduct AND because I'm not an idiot.
I've fought thinking the worse...but now I wonder is she trying to provoke me? Or is she mentally ill? Pre menopause? Or is this a strategy? I've done so much for her and her son, yet she acts like I'm a piker. Nothing makes her happy. Sex is more and more absent. If I mention that, she says "I didn't ask." ASK! Now I have to book requests?
I have to say, I'm getting concerned. Not sure which way to jump. Lawyer? Immigration officer? Wait and see? Try harder to fix things?
I know this will come as a shock to many, but I need the forum's support more than ever.
I'm scared. I could loose everything if this goes bad. At my age and recovering from cancer, my energy and will are low. My dream wife has become my nightmare wife.
    Help!

Vanessa, I know you have quite a reputation on VJ for saying some pretty off-the-wall and outrageous things and really, I don't care to get into it with you in this thread, but the term, "anchor baby" is a derogatory term and quite frankly, IMO, should be a TOS violation. Here in the U.S., it is in our Constitution that we have Birthright of Citizenship. Now maybe that doesn't jive with your political view, but it is the law of our beloved land here, so don't call the OP's children anchor babies. That's an insult.
You are good man for saying that.

Ok, I'm going to see if I can offend everyone in one post...
All men everywhere will do stupid things for pretty girls. This character flaw isn't exclusive to American men. However, most American men are not as gullible as many Filipinas seem to think they are. In many cases, these guys know darn well that these girls don't really love them. He might only want a sex toy who will treat him like she loves him for a few years. Most of the time, they're just hoping she hangs around and plays nice until he either dies or gets tired of her. Many times these guys go into these relationships knowing that it isn't going to last more than a few years. The sad truth is that many East Asian and Pacific Island girls don't age very well. They're adorable when they're young, but start to deteriorate rapidly when they hit their mid 20's.
...Jim ducks while the Filipinas start throwing kitchen utensils at him...
This isn't really any different from rich old men in the US who marry young trophy wives. These guys know that these girls marry them for their money. As long as the girl acts like his wife then they're generally ok with that. If she does anything to humiliate him, like fooling around on the side, then the relationship is over.
A lot of the men who go to the Philippines are average looking older men with average incomes. These guys wouldn't have a prayer of getting a young trophy wife in the US, but it doesn't take nearly as much to get a young wife in a poor country. There are several reasons this happens a lot in the Philippines. For one thing, the country has a long and sordid history of sex tourism, like many Southeast Asian countries. For another, there's no strong cultural aversion in the Philippines to older men marrying younger women, especially when there's a financial advantage for the bride.
Obviously, the above doesn't apply to everyone. There are many many relationships which are genuine and sincere on both sides. I'm just saying that not all of the guys who are getting played are totally unaware of it. In many cases, they're playing each other.

Darren, you voluntarely paid all the money to impress her family so you could gain a 19 year old in your possesion. You have'nt had her here one week and turned into a Control Addict. Your not even married yet but now you have her here and laying down your rules.
You have Issues. Are you going to hide her in the closet and only take her out of it when you decide. She is a young child (Adult) and will learn what you were and what your turned into. How are you going to act when she adjusts and meets other Pinays and they look at her situation with you and your behavior. Your butt is cooked. She will get smart.
You taken a young woman from her Villidge and promised the world and in less than a week destroyed all that but she don't see it yet. Oh, she will see eventually. And you are stuck. Modify your behavior.
You taken advantage of this young ladies life. You brought her to the States and now wish to be treated like a King from a 19 year old.
She is going to notice other men/husbands wifes. She is trapped. And she will get out of that trap eventually.
You talk about money in all your replys. No trust and even doubts. Well, you did it.
You would be a fool to not realize Sucker! Blood is thicker than water and your blood is running thin and crystal clear.
I just hope after the fake presentation you showed over there did not shame the family.
They trusted you. Now your complaining. Never heard of Marrigde Counsil before being married. YOU HAVE ISSUES Darren. Your behavior will intensify because Grethchen is pretty and men will look. She is going to be your wife and not a barbie doll to hide in the closet and pull out when you want to play with it.

What do these (highlighted) words mean?
I have a question please, if you don't mind... do American men refer to their American wives as "their AMERICAN"? "Your American"? "His American"? "The American"? And vice versa? Why is it, the Pinay has to be referred as "My" or "His" Pinay? Is it difficult to say "my" / "his" fiancee and or "my" / "his" wife? I'm guessing you are trying to be complimentary but, your "the/his pinay" comments make me wonder and ask myself...do you think we Pinays are human or.. an object.
If you can refer to your own fiancee as "my fiancee"... why can't you do the same to others'? What is the difference between "your" Pinay fiancee and other American's Pinay fiancee?
Again, I am happy because my husband has never referred to me as 'His Pinay". He's indeed one of a kind!

Sometimes people do need advice about immigration matters. I've always felt EVERYONE should seek professional advice before they start down this road. We did. And we consulted with two other attorneys during my husband's AOS.
Just make sure you seek a licensed attorney who specializes in family cases. Don't use your family lawyer. Don't use an immigration lawyer that practices employment based law. Use a family specialist.
And don't use a service that fishes for customers off of DIY sites. It's not just about their dirty tactics. They aren't licensed and you have no recourse if they screw up your case.

Ok...no offense but the only person you need to blame is yourself! You knew she was evil to you...your mom...and YOUR CHILDREN! Yet when they were ready to deport her you helped her out. I have a philosophy...if someone gets hit by a car I feel sorry for them. If they throw themselves in front of that car they got what they deserved. I was sympathetic until you kept helping and trying to be with that woman. From that point on you're to blame for your misery. Sorry...don't use love as an excuse and make better decisions for your kids!

This is my whole opinion on the subject. I'll number the points for easier reading.
    # 1: STFU people. If you don't want your kid to have the ####### doll, don't buy it for them. Like the ####### doll? Great. Buy 3. Whatever.
    # 2: Mind your own damn business. You wanna breasfeed? Go for it. Till they're 2 years old? Awesome. Don't wanna breastfeed? Awesome. Whatever you want. Just leave other people alone and let them do what they've decided is the best for their child.
    # 3: Get a life. People spend WAY too much time focusing on what everybody else is doing. Get Netflix or something and stop lookin at my boobies.
    Thassit.
