  1. What documents did you send with n400 ?
  2. Great! Good to know they can switch it to a combo interview on the spot !
  3. Congrats ! Were you sent only the N400 interview notice or combo interview notice ?
  4. Aren't they supposed to approve the i751 first before approving naturalization? Did you get any updates on your pending i751 ?
  5. Thanks y'all for the answers! I didn't know about the letter to request a combo interview and alert them of my pending i751, so I will do that ! I'm slowly building my N400 file as my window will open in November. Any advises on what to include in the application will be welcomed !
  6. Thanks y'all for your input. The reason why I'm also asking is that I read that for some they get the n400 interview letter without the i751 double interview bc the local office doesn't have our i751 case transferred to them, they don't communicate with each other ..
  7. Hi all, I am wondering which case would be better when filing for N400 with a pending i751. Do I wait for my i751 to be approved first then apply for N400 or do I apply for n400 while my i751 is still pending ?
  8. Same for Texas center 29 months... I didn't even get my biometrics taken or re-used.. I will be eligible for citizenship in 3 months so that's what I'll be preparing for That gives me hope but I wonder why would they be approved so quickly and no interviews
  9. I got exited when I saw a notification from this chat, thought things might be moving 😂 Nah, nothing here so far.. looks like I'm gonna be eligible for citizenship before I hear back about the i751 😩
  10. Nope, not yet. I'm still waiting on that. They received my application on December 6th and that's all what my case status says
  11. Just to add my experience in my recent international travel with an expired green card+ extension letter in case this helps anyone. I flew from Dallas, TX to Algeria and back transiting through CDG (Paris, France). Air France staff in Algeria was not familiar with the extension letter, it took them some time to read it and confirm with 2 different people to finally get it. I went through security and border police who also were not familiar with it. The police officer took them and went to confirm with a someone else, they took pictures of the GC and extension letter then let me go through. In CDG (France), air France staff checked it again but were much quicker and familiar with it, no questions asked. Arriving at DFW, it went smooth as well, the officer took a look at my GR and extension letter and that was it !
