Today on our 1st year wedding anniversary, we received great news that our AOS case was approved. We had our interview 6th November which went really well. Our case was approved later the same day but they only emailed me this morning. So happy that this stage is complete. All the best to everyone. Thanks for all your help 😊😊

And I wanna go book flights, so the standard question that I haven't been paying attention to answers: How many days from the Oct 23rd "your card is being produced" before I get the card in my fist?
It does seem like a rush of approvals recently, best of luck to those still waiting.
Mine took a week but got delayed it was originally meant to arrive Saturday(25th).
My card was in production from Oct 21st, then a string of updates came daily.
once it says “card has been picked up by Usps” it should take 2-3 days to arrive.

Just received my EAD combo card and my SSN both in the mail today!! Very pleased.
Would i need to do anything in regards to verify my SSN now or is it good to go?

It can vary. For example, sometimes USCIS doesn't forward your SSN request to the SSA. Once you have the EAD in hand you can go in person to the SSA and inquire if a request is pending on their system. If there isn't a pending request, then you can submit SS-5: https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ss-5.pdf
Thank you for the help!!!

After two long years, I finally had my interview on Monday, September 23rd. My case was transferred from the Miami office to Kendall in July and I think that's what moved my case forward. The interview lasted 20 to 30 minutes. The USCIS official reviewed the entire I-485 form and asked me some questions about my work and life in the United States.
On Tuesday I checked the old tracking website and it says new card it's being produced! I'm very happy.
It's been quite a journey where patience it's key. Good luck to those who are still in the process or who have just started.
Congratulations on. The interview!
may i ask after waiting 2 years did you receive the 2 year conditional or 10 year Green card?.

So finally after 90 days since my RFIE was received my case is “ ready to be schedule for an interview”! I know I have a long wait with my local office being 25 months, buts it a small victory lol.
Now back to waiting on my EAD/AP (195 days)😅

If I have submitted the erequest form, so still you guys think I should call them or else wait for reply of that request. What's your advice on that??
Doesn’t hurt to try, if it will make you less concerned

Hey everyone, USCIS received my response to a rfie 45 days ago and yet no answer. Do they have a limit of days to get back to me?
An officer told me yesterday 60 days to hear back from them regarding RFIE.

So excited to see processing times change and watching everyone wait anxiously for news. I do have a question for my case though, hoping someone can give their opinion or advice..
My AOS package (I130, I131, I765, I485) NOA1 date is March 14. Biometrics completed on April 2nd.
I did receive an RFE on my I485 for a Birth Certificate shortly after (had a problem with the one submitted). Because of this issue, my file was put on hold until a new B/C was submitted. On June 5th the evidence was received and I was notified they would continue working on my case.
Will my case still reflect on the March 14th date or June 5th?
Wishing all March filers best of luck this month!
I’m in the same boat as you, received an RFE for my B/C in June and my NOA1 is March 19th. Im still unsure if the date changes or not. Some say it does others say no. But USCIS haven’t said anything other than they’ve received my response. Sorry i don’t have the answer but I’m hoping we stay in the 5 month bracket for EAD/AP. The wait has already been long.
Have you made an enquiry yet?

They've always been praying hands on my phone lol. These are high fives ✋🏼 🖐🏼 🙌🏼
Yes i completely agree!

I pray the case processing times are somewhat accurate. The EAD/AP has now changed to March 16th. 🙏 (apparently these are “high fives” not “praying hands” See it however you like lol)

Yes 6 in total, 2 for each of those forms.

I have both account however, the new website doesn’t show me anything for the 3 cases only “Case was received you don’t need to do anything at this time”. The new website doesn’t show any received date at all.
The old website says for the I-485 the case is ready to be scheduled for an interview since April 8.
My NOA for the 3 cases is March 6.
Ohh ok i was trying to see if they had put “11th March” as your “submitted date” on the new website. For them to mention that date is random.
I say that as my Received date is 03\14 & my NOA is 03/19. However on the old site it says case recieved 03/14 on the new site it says case received 03/19. 🤷♀️
anyway yours will be coming soon 😊

That’s weird. I made an online inquiry Sunday because my received date is March 6 and I’ve got a confirmation email that they’ll update me by August 26. Yesterday I spoke to a very rude Tier2 and she said because my notice date is March 11 she can’t make an inquiry. She didn’t even say anything about the online inquiry that I made a day before...
May i just ask if you have the “new” and “old” USCIS account & do they both have the same received date?

Hello,
How long is the wait for the EAD after the fingerprints? Something like 8 months or more? Miami Office here
AOS NOA1 - 7/16/2019
EAD NOA1 -7/16/2019
https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
Check the link above, also if you fill out your timeline you can get a guesstimate of the time frame.
For EAD they are are currently working on March 9th. The waiting times just updates to 2.5 - 5 months.

Hi all, Oct 2017 Miami office filer here, green card marriage based.
I had my interview yesterday in the Kendall office. USCIS moved my case to Kendall due to the high demand and backlog in the Miami office. To be honest overall great experience, the Officer was extremely nice, we just went over the application and that’s it, we’ve been married for 3 years and have joint accounts, leases, tax returns, etc, so no questions, I would say the whole thing lasted between 10-15mins with a closing statement that’s everything was looking very good for approval, just needed to check some stuff from my i130.
I got this afternoon the notification saying my card is in production and just a few mins ago another saying my case is approved (don’t understand the timing lol I would say it should be the other way around). Looking back it was a very long wait, but all worth it with the great news and the last taste of the process with the interview was extremely and surprisingly positive.
Congratulations! Glad it all went smoothly for you both. All the best!
Any Miami or South FL AOS filers?

Hi all, my husband and I had our AOS interview last week 6th November interview at Oakland park. It went really well and completely unexpected considering we applied in March. I received my EAD 2 weeks ago and was happy for that. Today I received my greencard in hand. So happy this part is done for now until our removal of conditions. Wishing everyone else waiting all the best !!
