So my doctors surgery are being incredibly difficult and I’m struggling to get my medical documents. Aside from the required docs, as I already have these (ie police certification etc), is there anything else I can take with me for medical evidence?

Has anyone here taken anything else that has been beneficial?

Your GP have no right to refuse to give you any of your medical records. If you put it in writing then they have to give them to you. Hope you get it sorted!

See!! Maybe someone just forgot to click the update stage button. Congratulations and your have that visa in hand very soon!!

We've not seen each other since December as we agreed to save money and wait for the move but it's been tough not to go back for a few weeks. Going to feel very weird this time to know there's no time limit and I don't come back :D :D

Thank you!! I just can't wait to get it back now so I can book my flight and everything.

    Super exciting for us all!

    You will soon!

It probably feels worse now he's gone because you have the blues. I know how that feels though, we had many hopes I would have been there by now for certain things but that was back when we were thinking it was going to take 5-7 months (old timeline frames misleading us).

I can't wait to see that frown turn back into a smile when you get there!

ITS ISSUED!!! I am beyond happy right now 😁😁😁😁😁

As Luke said i think it's just generic. But I did have that message. They cover themselves I guess with a very unprecise time line.

But I have my visa in hand and one very large envelope which I'm treating like the crown jewels and tempted to wrap up in cotton wool to protect until I leave lol I'm keeping it in that handy plastic wrapper because the paper feels easy to rip so dreading putting that in my carry on without an outer protective layer.

April 17th is booked and confirmed. #27DAYSTOGO :)

So good, I wish I could say the same :( I feel like you either get it immediately or have to wait forever. Shaun and I just travelled for nearly 5 months together and now he's had to go home so I'm super sad 😔 We was really hoping to go back together!

Hey everyone, my status just changed to 'in transit'. I'm just wondering when I can book the interview at the London embassy? Do I have to have received anything in the post beforehand?

You have to get your police certificates and medical before you can attend the interview.

    K1 VISA

Hey all. I finally got my interview date set for April 2nd 2019. I just had a couple of questions for you.

Is our evidence provided with the I-134 Affidavit of Support sufficient? We have last year’s itemized tax return including W2, payslips for the last three months + a signed statement on company letterhead from a superior denoting job title, income + all the details.

My other question is that are there any other fees on the day of interview? We already paid £330 for the medical and the $265 MRV fee online when scheduling.

Thank you for any assistance. ❤️

I had my Inteview on Friday and all they asked for with the I134 form was the tax return.

Also there is no other fees fees to pay at the Interview.

    Good luck 😊

My fiancée and I (the petitioner) have ran into a bit of a snag in regards to our K1 case, we (finally) are preparing for our interview (yay). However, we've hit a bit of a snag regarding the i-134f, as I am a student and require a co-sponsor. Luckily, my dad was gracious enough to say he'd do it. He is currently making above 125%.

However, he retires in April and our interview won't be until June can we still use pay stubs or a tax return? Obviously, due to his retirement we won't have pay stubs for the months between his retirement and his interview. He's not sure the amount he'll be drawing in the form of a pension so that brings me to my second question of:

Can we use savings? Is there any penalty for using savings? What proof is required to use it? Is London picky in regards to this?

I had my interview Friday at London and all the asked for was the I134 form and 2017 tax return. So you should be fine I think

It genuinely is and it's such a relaxing process at the embassy once you're in so it's really not too bad.

    She's from Michigan and yours?

    Hey, me again!!

Do you know if the DS160 has to be in colour or is black and white ok?

    Thank you
