Our AOS case status just updated again (we got RFIE). Here's our timeline so far:
 
06/12 - Packet Sent
06/15 - USCIS received
06/23 - Accepted biometrics fee
07/08 - RFIE (text/email notification)
07/13 - RFIE letter in the mail
07/14 - Mailed response to RFIE
07/18 - Response to RFIE delivered
07/20 - Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received

We are about to reply to our RFIE. I'm attaching our (redacted) cover letter and a few pages of the evidence we're sending, in case it's of interest to anyone. The certificate already had an English translation, with a page asserting that the English translation "conforms". The conformity statement doesn't match the language that USCIS wants, so we're appending another page asserting that it's a true and complete translation (even though we are not the ones that did the translation).
 
I'll be sending it out via USPS priority flat rate tonight, to the P.O. box address. Hopefully it can be entered into the system before the (potential) furloughs happen.

Good news! Yaay, our CC was charged yesterday.

This is actually a case update. First thing is 'Case Was Received' but you don't usually get that unless you make an account and see the case history.

It was from PSA. But I only sent a photocopy of it in the original packet as the instructions said to only send copies, not originals. 🤷‍♀️ I sent the PSA birth certificate itself as response to the RFIE.

So after 4 long months of waiting it looks like Albany Field Office is starting to reschedule interviews. 
 
On July 10, 2020 my USCIS online updated and I was excited to see that my new interview has been scheduled. Haven’t received the letter yet though, but that should be *hopefully* coming soon.
 
Wanted to share this to give some hope to others who are waiting. 
 
If your field office is the same one has your interview also been scheduled?

For the benefit of anyone else going through these case rejections...
 
Yesterday I waited all day for a call back  from the Call Center after first explaining our Case rejection to the level 1 person.
 
They forwarded our case up the chain and 8 hours later I received a call from an actual USCIS Officer.
 
After taking our information and reviewing what I read to her from our rejection notice, she confirmed what I already suspected.  OUR CASE NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN REJECTED FOR THE REASONS INDICATED ON THE I797.
 
To her credit she apologized many times and said that unfortunately she has seen too many of these issues from the personnel  rejecting cases at the Lockbox.
 
Unfortunately, she said the bestl way forward was to resubmit the package again. She recommended including a letter attached to the front of the package with the rejection notice explaining that we had contacted the USCIS Call Center regarding our case and had been told the rejection was made in error.  There are absolutely no priority date requirements for K1 and K2 applicants adjusting status concurrently.
 
Little consolation for us, but at least this one person showed some level of professionalism. She also explained emailing the Lockbox is a tremendous waste of time, due to the fact that they routinely take 30-60 days or more to reply.
 
So back to the end of the line we go, simply due to some incompetent person at the Lock Box.
 
Hopefully none of you will have the misfortune of this happening, but if you do, this is what you can expect.

update : we received the 3 NOA receipts today (they received the application on June 4th)

I sent my AoS package on June 19th, it arrived on June 22nd and today my checks were cashed, I'm waiting for my NOA now 🤗

I just got my 3 I-797C letters in the mail! 🥳 Got the texts on 06/25 so that's 4 days after when they arrived.

Finally received my 3 case number last night at midnight by text message! after a month ! (application sent June 2nd)

OMG, just got the text messages from USCIS! 🥳 Our NOA1 dates are as follows:
 
I-485 = 06/23
I-765 = 06/15
I-131 = 06/15
 
I can now breathe again!

Hello June filers,
 
I am petitioning for my mother and sent our packet ( I-485, I-864, I-944, I-130, I -765 and I-131) on June 11th.  Received on June 13th at the Chicago Lockbox with USPS tracking showing on the way to the next facility since then until last night when we received 4 text messages with receipt #. Official I-797 to follow in the mail. 
We are so relieved and happy.

Phewww! Finally, received texts at midnight. I was getting anxious.
