JJA1979 got a reaction from Misis O in OCTOBER 2018 I-129F FILERS
I don't think they necessarily process Philippines faster, from the statistics I've seen it seems like the Philippines represents a fairly substantial % of overall applications (at least relative to the size/population of the country), so that may make it seem like more of them are getting approved relative to other countries.
However my fiance is from there and we're mid Sept and still waiting so....

Not really sure. I understand if the avg is 200 days and you're at 150 that there isn't reason to sweat, but we're at +30 over the avg now, your post seems to indicate that is when it is time to "check your progress"

Agreed. I don't care as much about long AOS wait since at least she'll be here then and we'll be together. The NOA1 to NOA2 wait seems to be the hardest.

You'd think so, but this IS the government we're talking about. From personal knowledge of dealing with local state government departments and employees, and knowing people that work in state and federal government positions, the amount of inefficiency and huge gap in work ethic between some people would shock you...

The current normal processing time is 5.5 to 7.5 months. You can't make an official inquiry unless you go beyond the 7.5 month mark. It sucks to see people way after you get approved before you, trust me, , but even if you got approved soon, it would still be pretty early/ahead of schedule.

Those are just guidelines, there are many Jul/Aug/Sep filers still waiting. There doesn't necessarily appear to be any order or rhyme/reason to how they process them, I'm assuming they process them "in order" to an extent, but there are a lot of factors that likely go into the order of actual approvals.

Yeah this process is definitely a big test of patience, especially the wait for NOA2. Hoping once that comes it will take a pretty big weight off our shoulders.
