AMS13 got a reaction from simobhlos in All Nebraska I-130 Filers -- Part 5
    UPDATE:
A follow up on last update for statistics on cases left to process so far:
    23.89% in Jan.
    55.43% in Feb.
    85% in March.
Statistically speaking, I believe March is currently the fastest in terms of case processing speed than any other month because (1) they processed the largest amount of its cases in the smallest time possible (5% in less than 5 business days), and (2) it has more cases than both Jan and Feb.

Unfortunately, all of the above is possible. There's no consistent ordering to anything.

Nope, not necessarily on the same day. Do not be nervous. Your expedite has worked apparently. Denying a petition requires a reason and the reason here is probably because I-130 is approved. Anyway, you'll know sooner than later. You can just call USCIS first thing tomorrow and ask why it has been denied.

Just to give you a further idea about the amount of processing needed in the coming months.
Feb, March, April, and May have a huge number of cases that require processing. May alone has 9000+ cases.
So, they don't take 1 month and finish it until the next, but they distribute the workload to offload a little from each month.
Here's what you need to do: Be patient and live your life.

Exactly. This is almost very accurate and close enough to the truth. I've posted previously that the actual processing times at this point is as follows:
    1~5% May-December 2018.
80~95% Jan, Feb, and beginning of March 2019.
These are not mere guesses. These are the facts that you can take for granted.
However, the percentages above represent a rough estimate to convey the picture based on the daily observed processing.
    You're welcome .

My best guess here is if it didn't cause your case to speed up, it will probably be processed within the normal timeline. So, best case scenario 12~12.5 months, and worst case 16+ months in processing.
If it passes the stated processing times, then you can actually get it expedited. So, good news sooner or later.

    UPDATE:
For January cases, good news as there aren't that many left. At the current rate of processing, I estimate roughly around 28-30 business days to completely process ALL January cases.
Edit: the above estimation doesn't account for cases transferred/will transfer. This makes the total processing days around 8 days less, at the current rate.

In all cases, their only option is to make a decision on the case based on its merits and evidences provided. So, I wouldn't worry at all.

Yes and yes. But I believe they're actually trying to balance things out.
At first, I thought transfers occur when the petitioner belongs to a specific state (which used to be the case before). Now, it could just be to get rid of backlogs or to avoid them altogether.
I detected over around 1000 cases in consecutive sequencing and they seemed to be queued for processing this or next week.

    Update:
Approx. 1000 cases from Feb have been transferred to another office today.
If your case happened to be in Feb 11,12,13, or 14, check if it was transferred online, and if so, call USCIS to find out which new office is handling these cases and let us know here.
I think Nebraska is speeding up by load balancing the case payloads for 2019.

    Hey everyone,

It seems that there has been a few I-129F cases that were recently denied and I'm almost certain they were not K1 related, but rather K3 related. The dates for these cases varied between October and November.

Hope to hear more good news for everyone soon.

Exactly! They're using the old calculation method and based on the previous month, and therefore, the timelines are almost always bogus. This is also based on my analysis of some statistics regarding case processing.
Hope to see good results for everyone soon.
