Pls I need to clear this from my mind. Please I need advise and I don’t know if that is why USCIS has not approve me.. So I got my Divorce Decree on the 26 of sept and got marry on the 27 of same month of September( a day after my divorce came through I marry my present husband) my fear is this, will the USCIS feel is too close and denial me or it does not matter as long as I already have my divorce? Pls any respond we be very appreciate. Thank you

You will be fine, don’t worry.

    you will be approved soon.

our case is worse, we did not mention ALL the children of beneficiary. We thought only minors (less that 18y.o) should be included. Now someone on VJ said it is not so😔

now I am sure it is the reason why we are stuck, while more and more petitions with a later PD are getting approved 😪

It doesn’t work like that...they must process in order of receipt date. It’s not like they have time to skim through a file and say “oh that one looks difficult I don’t want to do it” common sense they will process the next file in order of date. Of course each file is unique, so some files take longer than others. Example: my husband and I have no children and no divorces. So no having to check the validity of those items. He also has never been to the USA or filled out applications to visit etc. so yes these things all take additional checking.

That’s it! You confirm my worst fears. Seeing all those approvals with a PD 2-4 weeks earlier than ours, I am more and more convinced that our case has red flags...in the eyes of USCIS.

I wonder if it’s possible to receive a blunt rejection? without at least a RFE first??

  3. Congrats! Don’t be sorry, it’s not your fault to be approved earlier than others😀 Hubby did not check the mail?... Gosh, not only do I run to the mail box first thing I come from work, the first thing I do every morning is to check my phone and email for messages from USCIS, then online status, then VJ... Though lately VJ brings anything but hope. More and more December cases getting approved, leaving us more and more behind😔

In fact, the longer is the silence from USCIS, the more fearful I become. It’s NOT a good sign, I am sure. Our petition is under scrutiny I think, they found some red flags in it, I think, and digging further...and if I am getting a RFE, I’d consider myself lucky that it’s not a blunt rejection🤐

Damn ppl in December getting approved and I'm still waiting. I'll prolly be one of those ppl waiting the full 10-11 months

Yep, that’s how it hurts. My PD is 11/14/18 and still not a peep. It’s so bloody unfair.

Of course I am happy for those approved but you can’t help but feeling frustrated, “Why them and not me”

I am getting mad at TSC😡

  5. I am so sorry for you, DGF. It’s probably not helpful to say that I am dreading to be in your place. My PD is 11/14/18 but I see more and more approvals of those who filed after me. Both my husband (beneficiary) and me (petitioner) are getting more desperate. The separation is killing us. We are counting the days till my next visit to see him (57, and will stay there only for a week due to my work obligations). I check my USCIS case number every day, no updates. No emails, no SMS, no mail. It has become an obsession, really. So I do understand how you feel, please accept my sympathy. I wish you to receive the good news soon, very soon. It’s any day now, I am sure.

You must have to include the beneficiary  passport  size 2 copies photo.

Only if the beneficiary is in the United States, then his/her photos are required. For an overseas beneficiary the photos are not required.

This is a quote from the I-130 instructions from USCIS website: “You must submit two identical color passport-style photographs of yourself and your spouse (if he or she is in the United States) taken within 30 days of filing this petition.”
