    Thank you.

good luck to you and your fiancé.
i know 2 other couples from vj in kyiv embassy who were also put in ap around the same time we were.  All of us were approved over the past week. The embassy is very fair and much easier compared to others

Yes it is a process. We are sometimes are own worst enemy. We overthink the process when it really isn't needed. There are tools to use to help with your expectations and it comes down to knowledge. The main thing is don't expect so much and your expectations won't shatter when they are not met. IMHO.

Thank you. I do as well.

if this gets denied, we get married and file a CR1.

Well, we have 17 years in between us, but we are on the older side, just turned 47 and 64, divorced, both have children and we both are drop dead gorgeous, exclusively for each other When we first dated about 25 years ago, age gap was an issue, we couldn't make it last. I was very ambitious and career oriented. Now it isn't. Hope it will not be an issue for you from the very beginning.

Well, that may sound odd but it happens in Ukraine. Quite a lot of young girls feel comfortable with finding a man to rely upon, bear children and become  housewives for life, if their husband makes enough to support them. The background matters.

they must have found something on your application that they did not like. It's up to the CO to verify what you hand him over on paperwork or not. The Kiev embassy is pretty mellow for K-1, so if all the T's and I's where crossed and doted, no problems. You would have to review what you handed him over and remember the conversations and maybe then try to get a reasonable deduction from it. If after the 221g is changed to a denial....get married and do CR-1.

I also was at the interview and seem to me something was missing there.

Sounds to me like they have doubts about a bona fide relationship.......for whatever reason.  I would let this play out on its own for a month.......But if, eventually, they send it back, there will be no chance for appeal.......If they send it back or deny at the consulate level,  I would immediately withdraw the I-129f, marry her there, file a CR-1, and start building quality evidence for a bona fide marriage......just my opinion.

Probably not. Just wait and hope for the better. You've done everything you could have done by this moment.
