  1. Yes you must fill in all boxes Current income is the strongest factor in approval. But the interviewing officer has final say and no one can predict how the total situation will be assessed. Perhaps including all 3 years transcripts and your W2 May help. Maybe
  2. Im going to try If you are joint sponsor for a USC who is petitioning for the petitioners parents. These are standalone petitions. A separate petition for each parent .. a separate I864 for each parent Are you submitting two I 864 forms ..one for each beneficiary ? or are you joint sponsor for only one ? As each application is stands alone , your household will be 2+1 immigrant on each one. So household of 3 on each form. As the time on completing the form, you are not sinusitis either of them .. So you do not include the other parent on the household number. If your income alone is sufficient, you put your income on the form, submitting the IRS tax transcript and your W2 plus pay stubs as documentation. Your income for the previous tax years can be demonstrates by your w2. Your current year income is documented my your payslips
  3. @ER232 You have posted this in the forum for AOS from a fiancé visa .. So we can move it to the correct forum.. are your parents already in the US and are adjusting status, or in their home country and applying for an IR5 visa through the consular process. Thx
  4. Then if the SS income meets the 125% above the poverty line for household plus you, no joint sponsor is needed. But your petitioner must complete a new I 864 and provide all documentation required including evidence of SS Income … and get that to you for the interview. When you are at the first stage of interview you need to state that you have an updated I864 with you, as your petitioners financial situation has changed since the initial one was submitted.
  5. The petitioner must complete an updated I 864 for you to take with you to the interview .. along with all the required documentation. If the income of the petitioner does not now meet the requirements, then the petitioner must arrange for a joint sponsor and send you all the required documentation as well as the joint sponsor’s I864. But note .. It is the level of income that the petitioner has which is necessary for sponsoring.. Not having to file income tax is not the issue. What sources of income is the petitioner using to live on?
  6. Nothing really constructive to add to the conversation except that next Tuesday is our 49th anniversary .. while i do remember all of the wedding day, there have been many many many way more significant days in our lives since that day. Get married … then throw all this energy into living !!
  7. Read the preceding paragraph which outlines who is already registered. Yes LPR are already registered because they had biometrics done for their visa or AOS Read the whole thing
  8. This is from the USCIS website. I have skimmed but not read fully. But it states who is already registered, who needs to registered and how to do it. https://www.uscis.gov/alienregistration
  9. English only please in the main forums.
  10. You cant. I will flag it for a moderator to merge the threads
  11. I864 financial Affidavit of support and Ds260. IV application
  12. Answer just as you have told us. “ We decided we wanted to be together for life so we made the decision together to get married. “ Long gone are the days of a standard “surprise, one sided, on bended knee” proposal. Life happens in all different ways !! Org hat on Moved to AOS from K1 and K3 for best responses.

  14. How old are you ? What is your home country ?
  15. https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/who-can-get-age-pension?context=22526
  16. You are correct about her being able to receive the Aust aged pension here in the US .. subject to meeting the usual AUST Centrelink financial eligibility. But there is no reciprocal arrangement for health care .. she cannot use Aus Medicare in the US
  17. All of the above.Plus… Wills with each other as beneficially Beneficiary of retirement funds etc. joint bank accounts even if new .. obviously you have to get these things m now as you didn’t have them before .. you cant change the timing. Hopefully they will be enough
  18. Schools will require your ID and proof as address within the school district. A telephone call to the admin office of the local school district and you will be able to know exactly what they need. Banks etc will require your a iD and proof is residency and address. Your USC fiance will surely be able to provide info on these US processes Unlike some other countries, there is no federal state or local “ registration” of where you live or move to. The closest thing to that would be your drivers licence, which is issued by your state and requires you to update address details when you move within the state , and obtain a new state licence if you move to another state.
  19. Both the visa and the medical must be unexpired when entering the US. The medical is valid for 6 months .. the expiry date of the visa is on the visa in the passport.
  20. Notify who? As USCs, there is no issue with them entering and living here .. Your custody agreement and authorization to travel with them would be needed to be able to take them out of your home country
  21. As i said .. Your plans to drive in from Canada rarely encounter issues for the non USC visiting
  22. Storm has been a phenomenal club considering they started from scratch and in a non rugby state.
