My wife is at the embassy (Islamabad, Pakistan) for her interview and the status just turned "Administrative Processing" on CEAC. I'm sooooooo nervous, she hasn't called me yet. Appointment was 7:30 and it's 10:30 right now. 😬😬

So the CO didn't ask too many questions and smiled and said thank you and kept the passport. I don't know why my wife didn't ask if it was an approval 😑😫. I think we're fine since they kept the passport but I'm still so nervous.

Her passport sized pics were slightly blurry so she's getting new ones and dropping them off right now.

  2. Thank you all for the replies. My wife went to the Municipal Committee and they said they would have it translated by tomorrow. Can the people outside the courts do the notary public?

One more question that I posted on another topic. Does anyone have any experience with this: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/702752-case-complete-to-interview-may-2019/?do=findComment&comment=9682036

You also need to book your biometrics appointment through the same website http://www.ustraveldocs.com. Did you complete your medical? If not, book that first.

Yes, medical appointment is scheduled for next week. I don't see anything about biometrics on the Pakistan checklist. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/ISL_Islamabad.html#pre_interview_checklist

    Hello! Welcome to VJ!

Seems like you recieved the Case Complete email on 3rd April. There is nothing you can do at this part except for to wait. You can call them and ask if you have an interview date yet. You can call NVC at (603) 334-0700. Once you have the interview date, you will have to book your medical and biometrics before attending the interview.

Thanks @ShreebhagyaK9. I actually received the interview letter and the interview date is May 21. One of the steps on the checklist for Pakistan is to register for the document pickup location. I registered and filled out the profile but I'm just not sure if that's all I have to do. On CEAC, the case status shows READY. Maybe I should verify by calling NVC, although I assume they no longer have anything to do with the case since it's now at the Embassy.

  5. I submitted my documents on 3/23 and filed my 2018 tax return a few days before that. To my surprise, the 2018 transcript is now available from the IRS website.

I had only uploaded the 2017 transcript and full 2018 return with W-2 along with a written explanation that the 2018 transcript was not available yet.

If I upload the 2018 transcript now, will the review cycle reset?
