I called the IRS and found out that the script that they wrote to mass process the first stimulus did not know how to process a joint return where 1 spouse had an ITIN number. She told me it is an advance tax credit for the 2020 tax year and if you do not receive it, you will get it when you file your 2020 returns.

 

A side note, I did get the second stimulus.

I guess some people didn't receive it due changed address or for other reasons , They must claim when filing 2020 tax .

Thanks  Just I wanted to know might new government issued new rules or made any changes regarding immigrant as usually come up with new rules . But now I understood receiving stimulus check it won't affect naturazltion .

Even Idk new rules with health insurance  Current I don't have health insurance for 2021 Might I was eligible to get it through Medicaid or market place with government assistance but I didn't apply due it considered public benefits would affect eligiblity for naturazltion so I would rather to stay without health insurance and pay the fine .

Just according this answers. I'm Green card holder through vawa. Currently I'm working as part time job since I lost my previous job    I received my first and second stimulus check in mail and i went to deposit at my bank account since I didn't provide irs with my bank account information for direct deposit when I filled my tax .

. Just I want to know stimulus checks will affect my eligibility for Naturalization in the future or anything ?

For USCIS does stimulus check lead to under public charge rule or does it will have any affect for Our naturalization in future .

I'm permanent resident just still waiting for Stimulus check it should comes in mail since no Direct deposit information.

Will Receiving Stimulus check from IRS have any negatively impact any public charge determination in the future for permanent resident to become USA citizen ? Stimulus check consider as public charge for Green card holders ?

quick question please .

I'm green card holder I have new job offer now .

I had interview with manager and asking me to do paperwork very soon .

Also manager asked me to bring driving license , SSN card , GC just in case .

Just I have had read online it says 

Employers must never reverifyU.S. citizens. In most cases, lawful permanent residents do not need to be reverified .

I don't know what is correct answer .

1- Do employers have to reverify permanent resident cards? What about if they want to see it .

2- Should I provide them with My A Number on i9 form ?

For Health insurance and new policy .

Opening Enrollment for health insurance started 1 Nov .

For Green Card Holders Based on Vawa and working in United State , employer doesn't Offer any health insurance throw job .

How we Can get or buy individual private health insurance without using any public benftes such as Medicaid / low cost health insurance , etc .

Marketplace can find plan for affordable health insurance based on your income . But might it is not Solution because you can get for you low cost health insurance throw Marketplace which it considered government assistance or public benftes .

Even sometimes when you try to contact any other health insurance company it Could be the same Problem .

Buying from outside Marketplace will be expensive , and it still You Don't know either you Buying low cost insurance with any Government assistance or you paying for whole covarge without any Government assistance .

We all know the new policy ( using any public benftes will affect Naturaztion) 

Or N400 will get denial or reject .

People will lose them chance to became citizen .. is it Better not having any health insurance at all ?

For Green Card Holders .

So For legally speaking part as you mentioned in is certainly a general Rule not special Rule for certain relagion  . Certainly it's Apply for all people getting remarry again including all people whose got married before in ( temple _ Mosque _ Church , along with Civil marriage from Court before ) All people won't have problem to remarry again but in Civil Court .

For relagion part person need check with them ( temple - church - mosque  )  for remarry relagion marriage again that's if person decided to get relagion remarry again .( Religion way).

What is the difference between Legal Marriage and Religion Marriage ?

I never heard about Reglion marriage or reglion Divorce .

I am trying to help my friend She just lived in USA for less then two years.

Long store short .

She got married to abusive husband .

She Doesn't know anything about vawa .

After she told me her story I advised her to see lawyer and file 360 especially she has Good case and evdince , She is going to summbit the case by next week .

And I advised her to became member on this site to Learn more about vawa , She Doesn't really speak Good English and she doesn't read or write English at all , Russian is my first language and she does speaks Russian too .

After She got married in Civil Court with her Husband in USA then they decided to do Religion marriage at church or temple in usa as Celebrate marriage in religion way .

She had to get first Civil marriage in court in order too get religion marriage .

Actually after she got civil marriage certificate she was able to get reglion marriage certificate from church .

Now she is filling for divorce by the civil family court and she has final court day next week October 2019 .

At the church or temple they told her that She is not able to get the religion divorce  or it's very hard to get almost impossible but she will be able to remarried again in future if she wanted to  .. in her relagion Once she gets Civil divorce , the Religion Marriage will termented and Ended automatically but without Issued Reglion divorce certificate .

Because her Civil marriage related to reglion marriage .

Such as Condition Only able to get reglion marriage after getting Civil marriage , Once Civil marriage ended reglion marriage will Ended too .

I Didn't go into details with her but when she told me this story she said this is how is her Reglion .

So In front of God Her marriage will termented when she gets divorce by civil court and She Can't be Longer live with her Husband after that .

 For The legal part she has question .

 She Doesn't want face any problems in the future because of her reglion marriage .

Does it's legal to get Civil Divorce from Family Court and just leave relagion Part the way it is without getting religion divorce certificate without having any problems in the future  ? For USA law Is it Enough to get Civil Divorce from Family Court   ?

The key word is “approved” . After VAWA is approved you can remarry with no negative consequences to your VAWA status. You get your green card through VAWA, it means you can get naturalized 3 years from the GC date. Your new marriage has nothing to do with it.

1-Will remarriage effect vawa 3 year rule after you Got GC thorugh vawa (married to usc)  will still eligible to apply for naturaztion or Citizenship under 3 year rule after remarried ? Does remarried will effect anything Or will change any Of this Rules ?

2-After getting remarried Should we file taxes joint with new spouse or better to file separately ?

Hi Everyone .

Congratulations for all those people got them GC recently .

I just was wondering please need help.

Might someone has similar experience .

I got very werrid update on my 485 .

I received my GC already On May this year .

My last update online on my case status was Card was Delivered to me by post office that's was in May , 3 weeks ago I received new update which it says Fingers prints review was completed On July 29 we completed our review for finger prints on your i485 and we will work on your case at national Befints center we will let you know if we made decision on your case or we need anything from you .

I have no idea what is this mean , I already received my GC .

Case History : Next step we will prepare your case for officer for review , if we need more information we will notify you .

I just get little worried when I got this update .

Should I worry about it ?

When the put your case under review could take Only 2 weeks but you need to check your case status everyday .

Don't worry Everything will be Okay .

I just Don't understand You already got divorce and your received your Divorce Certificate or decree Or Final Divorce with court stamp on it .

What Does mean they want to check your legit Divorce ?
