Old website and App. I was standing in the middle of a queue at the checkout in the supermarket when I found out. Was crying like a fool and getting some funny looks haha. 😂

And remember, they dont *really* go in order. its usually close, but the cases are divieid up to different workers with different caseloads and different speeds of working!
 
Be happy for the approvals and be patient. Yours will come too.

I just checked my case tracker app and saw that we are approved today, no text and no email and I’m surprised that they were approving the cases this early (6am pacific time?) 
 
btw, we are May 4th on NOA1 
I was expecting a REF tho because I didn’t submit the statement that describes how we met, but seems like it went ok

I hope mine gets caught in the mix of approvals soon! All of the approvals today has gotten me excited and I keep checking the sites, email everything lol

I literally did not work today, I was just at my desk reading, checking, replying... it was definitely a rush!!!

Each packet is opened and scanned. After that it's a couple of steps and your file is being background checked. Once that's done the work load is distributed for adjudication. In adjudicator can have a lite case and finish and moved the next case. Others are more involved. So I don't buy into that should be equal. That's impossible. Just my 2 cents.

Oh *(&$ then there might be a inkling of truth in that theory.

I'm wondering that same thing. Hopefully it's still early yet, but it would have been nice if we could have scored before October is over. Hang in there folks we'll hear something soon I'm sure.

%^$& The bottom dropped out today with all the approvals, is it just me or does USCIS do most of their approvals on a Monday seems Monday is a rush then the rest of the week it trickles. Maybe it just me. Conrats to all the approvals.

First time to comment here, but we were approved TODAY!!!  I just got a text message and then checked the app, and it now shows "Case Was Approved" (October 29, 2018).  I don't know difference between old site and new site dates (and nor do I really care), but the "Received Date" on the original Notice of Action form (NOA1) was May 7, 2018.  I wanted to provide this information for reference to those who may have dates around this same time frame.  Best of luck to everyone!  Now I guess it's off to the thread for the next step......

Wondering what this new week will bring, I'm sure it will bring many surprises. Last 3 days of October folks. Thursday is the 1st of November and Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. Wishing everyone success!!!!

Here's the 411 on red flags at USEM. There basically are none. Meeting within two years of filing CHECK. Everyone's span is short unless of course those few who can afford to go back and forth for more than one time. I went two times but had no problems. Most do not. USEM is such an easy embassy to process through.
 
Just a note on your evidence. They may not ask for any pictures or other items for proof so don't be surprised if they don't ask but that doesn't mean you should not take it with you but just be informed that you'll probably not be asked for it.
 
Also, don't offer any additional information FREELY like wedding plans as they can open a whole "new can of worms". If the CO ask about your plans, then share but don't volunteer information. The may used that information against you in additional questions and probing. Just saying.

I spent the whole week checking the old website for updates... and nothing! Today I went to the new website and IT WAS THERE: case was approved! 😍 We are beyond happy!

Hello everyone.
So... I called USCIS regarding my issue, I will likely get an RFE based on what she said, luckily she was super nice and sweet with me over the phone. She said that the the process its taking about 5 to 6 months and that we will start hearing from them in a couple of weeks some of us next week because they are working on applications submitted at the end of April already(at least her pile of applications). She also said they are trying to get done as much as possible before the holidays, she also said that they have a deadline and they are trying to get done all the files up until June to avoid files to piled up to have a clear stack when they come back "in her own words".
 
So hopefully we will start hearing from them soon.
She was so nice to the point she was telling me that she will dress her puppy up for halloween as a coffee mug. LOL!! 🐶☕

Looks like everyone is readying themselves before the hopeful calm before the storm. I feel each and everyone of you. I have been dreading the infamous RFE for many months now. Nothing much can be done at this point except wait some more. Another week comes to a close next week is the last few days of October let's see what USCIS has up their sleeves.

I was reading the instructions and the section very carefully now and they list certain crimes that are more related to domestic Violence, alcohol etc. they do not apply to me because mine was a petty theft case, still very concern just do not know how to amend the application? 
Literally the list of crimes that they have listed are not applicable to me and that is what the office that helped me said to me over the phone right now because I called them yelling all aggravated. (you can imagine i went off...) 
@John & Rose after you went to the interview they told you that was the reason whey they were denying your application?  I am so sorry to hear that you were so close to get it and all of the sudden they took that away from you.

Feeling a little disappointed with the approvals this week. Have seen so little come in this week. 
 

Wow!!!  Very similar. We were told by an agency that I should say no since I was expunged. Here is the truth...you should answer YES. The I-129f is all about the petitioner. Just like you, my YES would not have made any difference in the petition. It was a misdemeanor battery arrest that was dropped and later expunged. By court order all digital and paper copies of the arrest were to be destroyed and they were. I do have a copy of the expungement order though. 
 
It seems that lawyers know as much about this as the agencies we pay to help do. If you read the actual directions they specifically says that the petitoner should answer yes if they were ever arrested even if someone tells them to answer no or they were expunged. I have a feeling they have seen this before. I would try to amend the petition but I also have to say that since this happened to me I have heard from at least a dozen people in almost the same situation (answered no when they had an arrest) and they were all approved. Your lawyer and my agency were both wrong. It isn’t the end. If you can amend try that. We were approved by NVC. They took my wife’s and step kids passports and congratulated us at the interview but 48 hours later saw that we were refused. It happened after the interview in AP. At some point try to fix that honest mistake and you will be fine. It is more about the disclosure than the actual arrest. 

I far as I know that information is about the petitioner but I could be wrong will do some research on it.

What a quiet day today. I was hopping to see approvals just like yesterday
