As I was typing a question on here about how long it takes to get an RFE response, I got a text on my phone about my case and I froze for like 2 minutes and my heart sank!!!!!

In Friday USCIS got our mail with RFE. We hope to get our approval during first week of 2019.  

Just wanted to share that I just got a text that my case just got updated. Went to check and got a request for additional evidence...its very bitter sweet....more bitter than sweet but like someone here said before "at least someone looked at my case". I have no clue what i could have possibly have missed and I did over 40 pages with 3 or more picture front and back so we will see! Is there a way I can call to see what they need from me?
 
They are definitely digging into June guys!

So you can DEFINITELY GET YOUR RFE FAXED TO YOU...you just have to be super resistant...aaaaand get an actually good person that wants to help!!
So after 12 calls and 11 "no we cannot help you", I finally got someone who was very nice to send me the RFE via fax. It is requesting a two year meeting requirement and I am a bit discouraged here because I literally sent them over 100 photos with dates,and explanations... and even links to videos of our engagement video which shows dates. Yes I know those can be altered. However, I am not sure what else I can do. My Brazilian passport was not stamped because I have dual citizenship so every time I go there, they do not stamp my passport. I am having a bit of a hard time coming up anything else. I did not stay at any hotels there since I have family there, and we barely went out to eat since his mom is a chef she always made sure to prepare a Brazilian home cooked meal each day! Can someone help me here?

From what I saw on this forum it is a bit of a toss up of what tier 2 agent you get, some would read you RFE, others just retreat into safety "strictly by the rules" ivory tower and make you wait for paper copy.

This I have been advocating for years. You are doing the right thing. When it happens it will happen. I couldn't agree more. Put fun back in your life. You deserve it.

Hello June Filers! I am new here (also a June filer)...I have a quick question for you all. Sorry if this is a dumb question...I am still learning this processing stuff!
 
Anyway...I have noticed that people's entry to the US AFTER they have received their visa varies drastically....I have seen some in which the person doesn't come until 2 months past receiving visa.
 
Is there a reason for this?? Is there a time line you have to wait after getting the visa in hand ( I know actually getting the visa take a few days, but I want to know once you actually have it, do you have to wait for something?)
 
Can you get a visa in hand a come to the US the day after?
