  1. Must say its frustrating not to have heard anything by now. Called on Tuesday and spoke to tier 2 agent and they said that there was nothing missing on my case and it was just waiting to get approved. Since then just been waiting and nothing happens. Just have to keep waiting. I wonder if its because there may have been extra background checks due to prior military service and that I am highly compensated/rated by the Veterans Administration for mental health issues.

Starting to stalk this thread 😁

I filed my I-129f on the very last day of August and my NOA1 is September 6th...so I'm reading both the August and September filers threads 😂

Good luck to everyone, hoping they start approving September very very soon !

Same here.  Sent on Sept 6th and got NOA1 on Sept 11. Saw that a burst of NOA 2 were sent out f0or Aust 21-27 filers. We are the next couple batches from now.

Up to this point I know that a NOA 2 wouldn't have come so have kept telling myself that "no news is good news" as any mail from USCIS would have probably been a Request for Evidence. Really looking forward to the next batch of approvals for Sept filers!

How would military experience make the process longer??  Additional background checks. I don't think that a grade school teacher and a military operative have the same MO. I have no trouble recognizing the difference.

I understand that those occupations are different, but I'm not sure that would make a difference. Researched this. I'm 100% service-connected disabled by VA, Honorable Discharge... and have never been in any legal trouble what so ever. Was thinking it could be less background checks since the FBI already checks you when you enlist. Don't think being enlisted at some point would make it any different than anyone else.

I am in California, and also a "he". The note is indeed approval. Dec 27 is a date on the notice, which was Thursday, no online notification of any kind.  Postal stamp on envelope reads Dec 28.

I did make an attempt to expedite due to Russian/Ukrainian tensions about a month ago, that was denied. I have pretty unique last name, no military service, which might've sped up background check some. I know I had a few minor mistakes on 129F, like the box for "multiple filers" I left unchecked when I was suppose to check "Not applicable" Didn't affect anything. We have met online, but not on dating site, no IMB questions with regards to that. Good luck everyone, start checking your mailboxes, sign up for informed delivery if you haven't yet! Thank you all for support and good wishes.

No military experience? Don't you mean military experience? How would military experience make the process longer??

Asking because I have and we filed a month apart.
