I emailed them with my problem and they didn't even acknowledge the question or concern, so they were useless. On the fourth day (and probably 100 sign in attempts), it fortunately just worked. Once we were signed in, we made sure to fill everything out right then in case we couldn't log back in for a while. I'm not sure what the problem was, but it just kept sending me in a circle with all the different errors. I hope yours will work automatically for you soon.

Yes I figured it out. I sent a forgot password request and it sent a temporary password to my email and then I was able to log in and all my husbands information was already there on his profile.

    How do we check it

We are planning on getting married in March and then we can apply for cr1 visa. Before the interview, we would meet up to 3 times and will also be there at the interview. Will that be better?

Dont worry about the age plenty of people have age differences. Definitely dont lie. But yes that will be fine I gave 3 trips under my belt too and we got engaged officially after being together 4 months got married 6 months after that and I went back a yr after that waiting in the process not knowing it would take so long. Just get married take pictures show proof and make sure she can financially be approved to bring you and most if all at the interview answer the questions right and honestly.

  3. Listen imma straight up tell you. Yall are better off getting married in Nigeria instead of doing k1. They deny k1 easily and you cant fight for it because your not married. With the age gap and short time frame the CO may deny the petition because he chooses too. Idk if you watch 90 day fiance but michael and angela on the show same situation hes young shes older they denied him. My husband is nigerian we got married and files cr1/ir1  it takes longer but it's better to wait through this process than yo do k1 wait almost 1nyr get denied have to get married then apply for cr1/ir1 and wait 2yrs. If yall love each other I say next time she comes get married let her come back and file then she can come back to visit you again. And the waiting will build yalls relationship history

  4. You can always email ask nvc to reopen ds260 or if it's already at the embassy email the embassy to.reopen it to make corrections. Ask ncv takes forever to respond to email tho I too am waiting to correct errors. But if all else fails  just let them know at the I interview. I wouldn't worry about it they just want the correct info.

This happened to someone I know yesterday at her interview in Lima. Her attorney completed 2 DS260s, one in Spanish, one in English. The Spanish version incorrectly listed her as single (she is divorced). At the interview, she was told this had to be fixed or it would require an interview rescheduling. She was given time to correct so she walked outside and called her attorneys office in NY. The paralegal fixed Online and when she walked back, the embassy could already see that the correction was done. She was approved but what a scare.

Ok thank you for this info

  6. Has anyone experience or know of anyone who experienced having to correct errors on ds260 during the interview stage? The nvc says once in DQ corrections cant be made and to.write a statement to address the errors and take to the interview or email the embassy. The nvc website says only nvc or the embassy can reopen ds260 for correction but nvc doesnt seem to be of any help in that manner. What happened at the interview when trying to correct errors? Did it cause any delays?

  7. Well i did one and my i130 got approved on July 11th my k3 still doesn't have a decision on it and from what I learned today is because a decision hasnt been made if it it is delaying the mailing if my approved i130 to Nvc.  This us what a tier 2 at Nebraska told my friend who is in the same boat. They have answered most k3 in 30 days we have both been with 56 days for a denial on it. So now we are stuck waiting. So auto denial of k3 and proving to be true.

I was waiting for my NOA2 to be received and processed by the NVC. They currently have my paperwork but I'm waiting for them to forward it to the US embassy in Belmopan where my fiance is. Once they forward this information they will give me a tracking number corresponding to my NOA2 from the NVC to the US embassy.

    Oooh ok...thanks

Email the uscis your paperwork and call!!! My paperwork is being processed as of 830am central time this morning. Waiting on a tracking number but atleast I know they have received it.

Question what is the tracking number you're waiting for for? And by paperwork you mean the research request is being processed?

This is so overwhelming. I'm on the phone every day for about an hour and a half just for two 2 min phone calls. My fiancee just tried and the called dropped. Hopefully we all here something soon. If I find out anything I will try to let you know what steps I took to getting to where we need to be.

When I called uscis this morning I was on hold for 35 min and a guy answered and then hung up. The second time I called it took 28 min. And thanks hopefully you hear from them sooner than later

  11. That's what they seem to be telling all of us now. I'm at 5 weeks waiting now. But I do know that they have been taking 30days to mail to Nvc IF your case gets the online status updates. Mine still says case recieved since June27 2018 I got approved July 11th 2019. 1 person I know has been waiting 8 weeks another is at 6 weeks. Another 1 has the same approval date as me and hers was sent on day 28 of waiting but her status updates online and mine doesnt. From the looks of things they really are making some of us wait up to 90 days.

  12. Y'all need to now file an adjustment of status AOS its a form and it's a fee your wife will have to submit documents of finances and the marriage license and any prior divorce decree. You have to do this Before the 90 days are up meaning have the petition in process. This will give you your green card and social security number. Be prepared to wait at least 10 months. If you go to the uscis website all the information is there to guide you through.

  13. Dont do it before the interview. Somome here did this and pics were posted online and they denied them the k1 because they had a marriage ceremony which constitutes marriage in other countries. I wouldn't try it. I would worry about her passing the interview. Make sure she does the interview get approved then "celebrate" as a family. If they even smell that you had any type of ceremony that looks like marriage they will deny y'all. And then you would have to do cr1 and you don't want to to do that I'm on cr1 now been waiting a yr for my noa2. But if you do have to do cr1 I suggest you file I-29f once you get your receipt number for I-130. But juat make sure she can answer any questions about you with comfodence she will be fine.

  14. I sent 6 months worth of conversation first middle and last page of those months. Pictures of course call log. Its not much you can have in the us with no social security number I had to file married filling separately too because again the foreigner doesnt have a SSN you can't be added to his bank so those types of evidence are limited you're just proving the marriage I dont believe they read all the messages as long as you sent I 10lb a vopy of the marriage license and photos of the wedding and y'all other times any financial support like if he sends you money or you him. You can always take new photos with you at the interview imcase they ask to see some.

  15. They don't care. Get married before her visa expires and file an adjustment of status before her visa expires. It's better to wait here while married than for her to go back and have to wait apart while married. It will take almost a yr to adjust her status so evidence will build. People have gotten married on less time than that. People meet on vacation for 2weeks call in love go back get engaged and file k1 and it's fine as long as the relationship is real you have nothing to worry about.

  16. They are two different types of visas. It will not effect you filing k1.  Of course they will see you filed for her before and The interviewer may ask who filed for her before and what happened but it won't make or break the k1. Just have All your evidence and she needs to be confident and answer the questions correctly. You should do moc interview with her so she can feel comfortable answering.

  17. Do it yourself. I was going to use them too but I'm cheap and its cheaper to do it yourself. Get familiar with the forms. I printed out a copy and wrote it in so I could make corrections before I typed and printed. Its not hard at all. It just seems a little intimidating. I sent loads of pics. Please send more than 10.  I printed out the first middle and last pages of our text for each month which was at the time was 6 months worth. I printed pics of screenshots if us on video calls I printed out call logs. All this is 6 months worth of info at the time I was filing. I sent copies of my tickets. my stamp ins and outs from my passport. We dont have a joint bank yet but I sent in financials of what I send showing family support. I sent 2 affidavits from my daughter and a friend. I sent in marriage license and divorced decree. Wedding invitation. With a cover letter stating all the evidence I submitted. After all that it was a pretty tall stack. I mailed it with the cheapest fastest mail delivery by the second day after mailing I recieved my text and email that they have received my petition. And now ive been waiting 11 months for a noa2. You can do this leave nothing unsigned reading over the application many many times before u send it.
