  1. Actually I am having plastic surgery on my face but I do have a scar from cancer on my cheek, and although its hard to notice it, I notice it and so a plastic surgeon is "fixing" it for me in a year or so when the scar has settled. That is it though !!! Thankfully everything is still where it should be so no work for me for the forseeable :D

    Ah, her name Jocelyn Wildenstein.

    jocelynwildensteinbefore.jpg

It has been reported that Jocelyn has spent close to $4,000,000 to surgically transform herself into a monstrosity.

    jocelynwildensteinafter.jpg

Jocelyn Wildenstein married a rich art dealer when she was young and caught him cheating on her. They divorced, she got millions and so began her self destructive plastic surgery addiction. She wanted her plastic surgeon to transform her looks so she would look more cat-like. Talk about someone with too much time and money on their hands!

Personally, I don’t think she looks cat-like at all. She looks like a cross between a transvestite burn victim and that kid from the movie “Mask”.

    mask.jpg

Seriously though, Jocelyn has to suffer from some serious mental issues to completely disfigure herself in this way. How in the hell can Britney Spears be held against her will for acting a little crazy, yet no one has thrown Jocelyn Wildenstein in a padded room? If someone is caught cutting themselves, they would be immediately admitted to the psych ward, yet you can let someone else slice and dice you and it’s okay?

its a shame her hair is such a fcuking mess too. She really is having a bad time of it.

  2. This is pretty much what guerila warfare is - when its conducted within the confines of a densely populated urban area.

    Really? Guerilla warfare? Not "atrocities"?

Guess it's ok when Hamas does it.

Hey - I'm not endorsing it. Just saying that given the mismatch in firepower between the two sides - the approach doesn't seem illogical or surprising.

Oh come on Paul !! Hamas are murdering their own people! I agree this is not surprising - they are a TERRORIST organization !!! The sooner Israel declares Hamas extinct - the better.

  3. It is a good thing that Kofi's son hasn't gotten rich through UN consulting/contracting, otherwise there might be a few uncomfortable questions for poor old Kofi himself. Oh wait, that really happened. Silly me.

Good point, brittle! Thank God we live in a country where nepotism, cronyism and corruption are absent in our political system. You're not silly...you're just britty.

    always a pleasure.

britty, you're doin' one heck-of-a job in demonstrating a double standard.

well thank you kindly Mr Pants. I like to think I do good work.

Gotta give credit to the fine British education you had.

Again, thank you. My parents will be pleased to learn their money was well spent.

  6. how many times waiting in lines or in the terminals were you bored and flipped through your documentation perahps reliving old trips or cursing border officials for placing stamps in the crease?

this dude knew what he was doing... no-one would go through that much security without noticing the mistake themsleves

Normally I am a total cynic, however, as a regular business traveller myself, I can honestly say I show my passport and it goes back into my purse. I think the only time I look at it is before I leave the house to make sure its the right one. The airline should have spotted this immediately. I don't think the passenger can be held liable for this entire debacle.

  7. Well if he just grabbed the first passport to hand and ran for the airport, then I can see it was an honest mistake. If the airline didn't raise the fact that he had the wrong passport at check-in, then there was no reason for him to be alerted to the fact that he was travelling on his sister's passport. If a copy of his passport could have been faxed to Pakistan or something similar, he should have been allowed to stay. Its not like the passport he used belonged to a complete stranger. The airline needs to get a bit of a kicking for this one.

  8. i have to wonder if the same people that see nothing wrong with these protester's rhetoric would be so forgiving if it were israeli supporters saying similar things about palestinians.

I'm not sure if you're including me in that group, Charles - but I did use the words 'vile and disgusting.' You should also wonder if you could ever admit fault on the side of Israel - the atrocities they have committed. To take the position that there is clearly a good side and a bad side in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict has no basis in reality.

But what has that really got to do with this particular issue? Are we not discussing a group of hateful individuals who saw fit to spit their poison at a group of people under the guise of a "protest"?

  9. Those things she said were disgusting and I am saddened that protesters can't be more dignified. I would like, however to have seen what the other side was saying, not that it excuses her behavior but obviously this was a one sided video.

There wasn't just one stupid animal shouting her mouth off. There were a number of protestors shouting and jeering. I don't need to hear what people on the other side of the street were saying to know the protestors we witnessed on the video are a bunch of monsters that need to be removed from society. I only hope that those protestors are recognized so they can be persecuted.

I believe I stated above that whatever the other side said would not have excused her behavior. These aren't animals, btw, they are human beings that bleed blood and everything! Each side is made up of human beings and if we could view everyone involved as such maybe we wouldn't be able to carry on with life as normal with the thought of so much destruction going on in front of our very eyes.

I like to believe that humans are sensitive, kind, tolerant individuals. Clearly the woman you mention on this video was none of those things. I was wrong to say she was an animal however, she is in fact a monster.

"Monsters"? "Animals"? This is inflammatory talk which I believe is uncalled for. You and I have no idea what may have happened in this woman's life. As an illustration; what if she were a loving daughter from an apolitical family that was living in Gaza who were the innocent victims of the bombing. What if those bombs killed her mother and father, or her grandparents, or her brothers and sisters? What if all of them were blown into unrecognizable shreds? If this were the case, would you still say the same thing about her that you are saying now? How would you feel if the same thing happened to your loved ones? Is it possible that you might not hold back your angry words?

Angry words? you call "get back in the oven" angry words? As Mawilson pointed out, you have no idea what went on in this woman's life so to make up a story of a terrible scenario that might have been is just pointless. What if this woman was raised in a household filled with hate, violence, and the teaching of destruction of others? What if this woman simply likes rallies and decided to shout shite to get attention? What if this woman is simply a nasty piece of ####### who delights in the misery of others? We could carry on with this all night but the bottom line is she is a monster.

So tell me, if this woman's family members were the victims of war, do you think her comments and the comments of the other protestors would then be acceptable?

The fact that we don't know what went on in that woman's life is exactly the point. If we don't know, then it could very well be that the example I used is what happened. What if that is what happened to her? Are there any circumstances that you could imagine yourself in which would make you extremely angry?

As for her comments being acceptable if her family was a victim of war...I don't know what you mean by acceptable. Her comments are not illegal. I am simply trying to put a serious issue into context. If my family was killed, I know that I would be angry. Angry enough to say things as inflammatory as she said. I don't know. I hope I never have to experience what both sides are going through.

By your standards, the examples I gave are equally as likely which would make her even more dispicable than she already is. I am astounded that you are defending this woman's comments as "not illegal". What are we supposing the person or persons she was shouting "get back in the oven" to had done to her? Are these the murderers of her family? What about the other protestors and their chants? Have all their families been murdered by the people across the street also and that is why they are so hateful? Could it be that these low lifes are simply scum? I think so.

  10. Now Im not saying that I would run out and eat monkey, but I think the fact she had meat sitting out for the long haul flight is nastier than the fact that its monkey. really why is monkey any more gross of a meat than anything else that walks and makes noises?

its despicable as it was an endangered species, and it is illegal to try and smuggle it into the US. DEPORT !

  11. Those things she said were disgusting and I am saddened that protesters can't be more dignified. I would like, however to have seen what the other side was saying, not that it excuses her behavior but obviously this was a one sided video.

  12. equally as disgusted. I would however be interested to know why you felt the need to print statements made by jews to establish whether or not I had the same distate for racist, hateful, destructive comments as I do for the protestors in Florida ???? The question you ask says more about you than confirming any answer I would care to make.

That makes no sense whatsoever. You were stating your distaste for hate comments made at a pro-Palestinian rally in Florida so I simply showed you comments made by pro-Israel people who are recognized worldwide to see if you felt the same. The fact that they are jewish means nothing to me. There are many jewish people who are vehemently against the war crimes that Israel performs just as there are many muslims who are against terrorist acts that harm innocent civilians. This really isn't anything to do with religion but nice try.

so basically you were trying to establish whether or not I was simply against Palestinians? Nice try with the race card sunshine but unfortunately no points. Showing me comments made by pro-Israel people is ridiculous. You may as well be showing me comments made my green martians. It doesn't relate here. The issue here is not whether palestinians are saying something more vile or vicious than members of another nation, against another nation or a group of people, but rather that a bunch of useless pieces of racist flesh are huddled together on a street corner spewing venom that I find offensive. I never said this had anything to do with religion. Why on earth would you assume I did - please re-read my post and respond accordingly if you must.

  13. why should they be removed from society?

As far as protests go aren't these nutjobs entitled to the same free speech as all the others?

There are many weird and distasteful people in society. Its unfortunate and due to generational prejudices and a lack of education - but you can't change attitudes by jailing or froprying people.

I have zero tolerance for the spewing of hate and destruction to others. Nutjobs, simply by definition, really need to be contained so that they are not a threat to normal society.

How do you feel about these people spewing hate and destruction to others?

    1. “There is a huge gap between us (Jews) and our enemies not just in ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience. They are our neighbors here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are people who do not belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong to a different galaxy.” Israeli president Moshe Katsav. The Jerusalem Post, May 10, 2001

    2. “The Palestinians are like crocodiles, the more you give them meat, they want more”…. Ehud Barak, Prime Minister of Israel at the time - August 28, 2000. Reported in the Jerusalem Post August 30, 2000

    3. ” [The Palestinians are] beasts walking on two legs.” Menahim Begin, speech to the Knesset, quoted in Amnon Kapeliouk, “Begin and the Beasts”. New Statesman, 25 June 1982.

    4. “The Palestinians” would be crushed like grasshoppers … heads smashed against the boulders and walls.” ” Isreali Prime Minister (at the time) in a speech to Jewish settlers New York Times April 1, 1988

    6. “How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to.” Golda Maier, March 8, 1969.

    7. “There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed.” Golda Maier Israeli Prime Minister June 15, 1969

    8. “The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff, which was born and developed after the war.” Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha’aretz, 19 March 1972.

    9. David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): “If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?” Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp121.

    10. Ben Gurion also warned in 1948 : “We must do everything to insure they ( the Palestinians) never do return.” Assuring his fellow Zionists that Palestinians will never come back to their homes. “The old will die and the young will forget.”

    12. “Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it.” - Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, October 3, 2001, to Shimon Peres, as reported on Kol Yisrael radio. (Certainly the FBI’s cover-up of the Israeli spy ring/phone tap scandal suggests that Mr. Sharon may not have been joking.)

    13. “We declare openly that the Arabs have no right to settle on even one centimeter of Eretz Israel… Force is all they do or ever will understand. We shall use the ultimate force until the Palestinians come crawling to us on all fours.” Rafael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces - Gad Becker, Yediot Ahronot 13 April 1983, New York Times 14 April 1983.

    14. “We must do everything to ensure they [the Palestinian refugees] never do return” David Ben-Gurion, in his diary, 18 July 1948, quoted in Michael Bar Zohar’s Ben-Gurion: the Armed Prophet, Prentice-Hall, 1967, p. 157.

    15. ” … we should prepare to go over to the offensive with the aim of smashing Lebanon, Trans-jordan and Syria… The weak point in the Arab coalition is Lebanon [for] the Moslem regime is artificial and easy to undermine. A Christian state should be established… When we smash the [Arab] Legions strength and bomb Amman, we will eliminate Transjordan, too, and then Syria will fall. If Egypt still dares to fight on, we shall bomb Port Said, Alexandria, and Cairo.” ” David Ben-Gurion, May 1948, to the General Staff. 17. “Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population.” Moshe Dayan, address to the Technion, Haifa, reported in Haaretz, April 4, 1969.

    18. “We walked outside, Ben-Gurion accompanying us. Allon repeated his question, What is to be done with the Palestinian population?’ Ben-Gurion waved his hand in a gesture which said ‘Drive them out!’” Yitzhak Rabin, leaked censored version of Rabin memoirs, published in the New York Times, 23 October 1979.

    19. Rabin’s description of the conquest of Lydda, after the completion of Plan Dalet. “We shall reduce the Arab population to a community of woodcutters and waiters” Uri Lubrani, PM Ben-Gurion’s special adviser on Arab Affairs, 1960. From “The Arabs in Israel” by Sabri Jiryas.

    20. “There are some who believe that the non-Jewish population, even in a high percentage, within our borders will be more effectively under our surveillance; and there are some who believe the contrary, i.e., that it is easier to carry out surveillance over the activities of a neighbor than over those of a tenant. tend to support the latter view and have an additional argument:…the need to sustain the character of the state which will henceforth be Jewish…with a non-Jewish minority limited to 15 percent. I had already reached this fundamental position as early as 1940 [and] it is entered in my diary.” Joseph Weitz, head of the Jewish Agency’s Colonization Department. 23. “Spirit the penniless population across the frontier by denying it employment… Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly.” Theodore Herzl, founder of the World Zionist Organization, speaking of the Arabs of Palestine,Complete Diaries, June 12, 1895 entry.

  14. The Hamas supporters on VJ are missing the point. Hamas is a declared Foreign Terrorist Organization, declared by our own federal government. Supporting Hamas isn't just being a naughty little racist, it's aiding and abetting and supporting a terrorist organization.

What I don't understand is how you guys are so comfortable supporting terrorists.
