Planning to call NVC later today to find out the status.

I  am going to quote this "If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien, the rules for filing income, estate, and gift tax returns and paying estimated tax are generally the same whether you are in the United States or abroad. Your worldwide income is subject to U.S. income tax, regardless of where you reside". I found this on IRS website.

 I am waiting for next 3 more days than I will submit second case Inquiry with USCIS. They normally have 30 days to respond to your Inquiry.

Yes, I had submitted an inquiry on March 02,2019 and  it has been assigned to the officer for review. They generally have 30 days to respond from the day they received the inquiry.

Service Center - Texas Service Center

Priority  date June 22,2018

NOA-1 : June 26,2018

NOA-2 : Patiently Waiting  (already 9 months into Process)

Hello Gojo and Inneedofmyhb I am not sure if you guys noticed, USCIS processing time went to 7-9months for Texas service center. I have always noticed that receipt date for case inquiry went back to June 29,2018 from July 04.

Good piece of advice for you, I think she is done with you. You should consult US Divorce attorney  to get consultation of how you can file the divorce in US.

It might be quicker to get divorce in US than Pakistan.
