In my case even filing an N400 has not helped. My I-751 status is the same since November 2021 and not a single movement on my N400 as well. Extremely frustrating :(.
at least if i went ahead and filed the N400 it would go to my local office which I do not think is that backed up. SRC is my office for ROC and I was so excited when I first filed bc they were the quickest office and now they have a 24+ month who knows when turn around time.

When you receive it, can you let us know what the notice date is?
notice date for it was 04/05/2023. I really just want to go ahead and file for N400 because this is getting ridiculous. I would if we didn't already have a trip planned to the UK.

You never know with USCIS 😅
Plus this is the first time I hear about them sending extensions automatically. Usually people receive one after filing and resolve to ADIT stamps once it runs out.
@lil.han if you don't receive anything in few weeks, you can open request here
https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?sroPageType=ndn&entryPoint=init
i am getting it in the mail today apparently

Inquiries don't result in anything most of the times anyways. But yeah, it's a bit frustrating...
when we were filing our k1 paperwork, i had to open an inquiry to get it approved. and what do you know about the time i opened an inquiry it was approved. That was nearly 5 years ago though and timelines were faster.
-
if Texas keeps adjusting their processing times I am going to scream. Every time it gets close that we can file an inquiry it changes. Now I have to wait until May to file an inquiry. We are trying to go to the United Kingdom in June and I was hopeful we would have the 10 GC by then.

Texas Filers:
I just got the update that our fingerprints were going to be reused so hopefully they will be working on November filers quickly. Our NOA1 was dated 11/29/2021.

I added my information to the spreadsheet. Did any one on here receive a courtesy copy of the NOA instead of the original copy? We used an attorney so it said the original notice was mailed to the attorney. We used an attorney for the initial GC as well and we received all the notices and never got a courtesy copy.
this happened to me too but the attorney said they have my actual copy so I am going to get a copy of that before the greencard actually expires so my husband can have it if he needs it.
-
how will i know if the biometrics gets waived? will it update online or only through a mailed copy?
-
somehow we did get a text and we got texas service center. Hoping for quick processing!
-
We used a lawyer so unfortunately we don't have text updates but I did find out that it was delivered on 11/26/2021. I can't wait for the NOA1 now.
-
we mailed everything off today from the lawyer. now the panic has set in.
-
i have a dumb question but who is the petitioner on the i751 form?

"In Texas, your address on a driver license or ID card must be changed within 30 days after moving to your new residence." The expiration date doesn't matter.
we did update our addresses with the ALEA via document. Alabama does not require you to purchase a duplicate document just because you move. We just moved beginning of this month. I think i am just going to wait to file until i update my driver license. A lot of my mail and documents still have my old address on it though.

do you think it will matter that our addresses are different on our IDs? should my husband pay for a duplicate? we literally just moved but My ID expires in November. My husband's ID does not expire until 3 years from now.

i was just curious as none of my previous stuff has went to Texas Service Center. K1 went to California and AOS went to Missouri

Since you're in New York, your application will probably be sent to Vermont. Things seem to be moving along there. We got our biometrics letter in record time!
does that mean Alabama most likely goes to Texas service?

so texas jumped to 28.5 months and i am so angry.
i am trying to be patient but when we filed the turn around time was 8 months for Texas. The earliest I can even do anything is March 2025 if it even stays at that processing time.
