I wonder if anyone case status is still "Case was Received" since Feb 2022 up until today.
It's complete silence. No notification about Biometric being scheduled or waived also. It's probably normal but I guess I just need to know that my package isn't lost or something.

Had our GC interview yesterday in San Antonio.
NOA1 July 1
Biometric Jul 24
RFE Sep 11 for Birth Certificate
Interview March 11
Got approved on the spot.
I had been feeling underprepared because we only have joint bank account and tax return for evidence but that turned out to be just enough.
Congratulations to those with approval under their belt and wishing a speedy approval for those who are still waiting.

I can finally post that our case is ready to be scheduled for the interview i cant believe we finally made it to this point and also it say that our new card has been ordered for the EAD....im speechless yet happy and ready to proceed on this journey.... Anybody know how long it takes for the EAD card to arrive....my husband is ready to make some coins after just sitting around for 9 months
You can keep track of the ead card.
In my case, it changed to "card was produced" within 3-4 days then "card was picked up by the usps" with tracking # information the day after that.

This EAD/AP card is taking quite some time at least in my case!!!!!😑
I submit my AOS package on June and had my biometric done on July 24 before I then submit the EAD/AP package on Aug 28. We didn't think we need EAD/AP back then. Oh well..
Anyway, got RFE on Aug 29 for birth certificate but from the tracking info, my EAD card should arrive today. Thats 5 month processing time for EAD.

The interview went cool with the CO on 27th Jan until he asked about the ages of my fiancees children and I was trying to answer when a man right behind the counter most likely the Supervisor cautioned him not to ask such question. I saw the question was unevessary too as it seems age discrimination against my fiancees who is 26 yrs older than me. He had earlier collected the original of my divorce papers. The CO informed me my case has to undergo necessary administrative processing and handed back my passporr and a white paper. That if I didn't hear from them within 90 days. I should send them an email. This left me devastated because we did everything right in our file and we are genuinely in love with each other. My fiancees is really shattered right now. Pls what does this process entail ? Can we still get approved ? We need urgent help pls !
I'm sorry I know it must have been devastating for both of you!
What does the white paper say?

Been 38 days since they received my RFE, 60 days since I completed biometrics and currently stuck at RFE received. Do you think it’s worth calling? I called 2 weeks ago now, I know the processing time can take up to 90 days for them to respond to a RFE but I know most people on here get a response before 30 days. I’m sorry just really impatient.
Guess I'm on 72th day as of now. They received mine for bc on sep 11.
But I don't think I've seen any July filer with RFE have heard anything back? Are there?

Anyone else waiting for a response on RFE? Mine currently sitting at 22 days since they received it, hope to hear something soon getting impatient. Local office Boston.
They received mine on September 11 and I haven't heard anything since. Our local office is San Antonio.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody has an insight on the chance of approval without any proof of joint account.
My NOA1 was July 1st. Done biometrics on July 24 and they received our RFE on Sep 11.
No news ever since but I worry a lot because other than marriage certificate, we don't have anything with both our name on it. As a matter of fact, my husband's ex wife's name is still on the house paper and some of our bill.
Do I even have a chance of approval?

just curious for those who responded to an RFE have you heard anything since the acknowledgement receipt notification?
None yet for me. They received our response on Sept 11 according to the website. Hopefully we'll get some "ready to be scheduled" changes thingy this month.

In the new revised I-134 form dated 11/30/2018 - Question #38 now regards contributions. You leave the yes/no boxes "unchecked" and your explanation is submitted in Part 7 on page 8 of the new form.
You will do this:
3.a. "Page 4"
3.b. "Part Number 3"
3.c. "Item Number 38"
3.d. "N/A (K1 Visa Process For Permanent Residence)"
Where can I find the new I-134? I tried USCIS site https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 but there's only the 11/30/16 edition. Thank you!

Thank you for this.
Would you please enlighten me on above point, whether it apply to both petitioner and beneficiary or only to the beneficiary since petitioner's records been submitted along with the original petition.
Thank you in advance!

Mine was ready since Dec 13, and my fiance got email from the embassy on Dec 21, then they email me (P3) on Dec 26. According to DHL tracking trick, it said that the case has arrived in Jakarta on Dec 17 though.
Hi Tirza! Great to know you too!
I'd shoot you a message! Thanks

Checking in to share that our case status changed to "Ready" today and congratulate everyone who've also had their case ready. To those still waiting, hang in there a bit more!
@Laras.D sent an email to Indonesian US Embassy yesterday but they simply replied that they wanted us to wait for their instruction's email (P3) before gathering any sort of documents.
Wish you all a great weekend and New Year's eve!! 😊

Is anyone's case still at NVC? I got my case number last Friday but my case is still at NVC so I guess I missed this week's shipping
Guess mine still is.
But they only received mine on the 28th so I actually am not expecting to hear anything until mid January.

Got it in the mail today, just shy of 6 months since I sent it in.
So, from what I understand, I need to send her the sponsor form to bring to the interview.
Also, how will that be set up? I know it will be after the paperwork gets to the embassy in Jakarta in ~6week, but will they contact me or her about it? About how far out is it set up?
Also also, will they tell her how/where to get the medical check up? Or is that something g she can do now?
I have a lot of question of what I need to do now haha that letter I got today wasn't very informative, I'm assuming the next letter I get from the place in NH will have more info.
Thanks!
First, congratulations!
Embassy will send an email to your fiance of all requirements they need her to gather after they received your petition. That email is what people usually called "Packet 3"
She will then replied to the email after completing all of the requirements and the embassy will reply with the date and time of the interview. This is the "packet 4".
She can do the medical check up at RS Premiere Bintaro after you get the the NVC # right away if you wish to speed up the process.

Case Numbers
Case numbers will trickle out to you over the next week but you are more apt to get your case numbers on 12/5-7 which is just prior to the bulk shipments on 12/11-12 to the embassies. Waiting to call on those dates is a better use of your time. Just our experience.
THIS! This kind of post is the reason why I don't feel the need to pick up the phone and call. 😁 just sayin
If it passed the date then it simply wasn't meant to be our time... Then I'll just wait til Mr @Greenbaum post the next date again and wait til then.
You always keep my nerve calmed, Sir. Thank you. SO much. 🙏🏼🍻

NOA2 notice date was Nov 14, fiance received hard copy on his mailbox Nov 19.
I created the ask-nvc thingy as Mr @Greenbaum advised on Nov 20 so we will stay updated but won't have to call and been busy enjoying my God-knows-how-many-more-left remain time here in my country doing things I know I would not be able to do later at the state. My soon to be Mr been busy doing the same and redecorating his house to create some space for me -or so he said.I know my timeline is moving pretty fast but if I may, please don't let all these already hard process take its toll on ya'll life and relationship with others. Try your best not to stress on it too much. Havr faith that everything will happen when it's meant to happen. In the meantime, strive to be a better person and create as many memories as you can with all your friends and family.
Ps: No, I haven't succeeded in quitting smoking. I'm weak. 😅

I would like to know if I should get married and then get my SSN. I am not gonna change my last name and we have read that in order to apply for SSN we have to wait 14 days after POE.
It depend on the state. Some state require SSN to obtain the marriage license but I read somewhere
that they can simply provide copy of copy of their I-94, K1 visa and passport for the marriage license. So I guess it vary.
Try looking into your state county's website for more info.

thank you for response, see how the response from that other thread confused me, someone suggested that they need a waiver... which nobody agreed with nor corrected it...
No worries, fellow fillers. My petition had that same box checked. All we did was submit a full records of all, and we are good! We've received our NOA2.

hi there thanks for the response.. yes we checked the "yes" box
First of all, I always thought that IMBRA topic were meant for those who've met through international marriage broker services.
Second, would you please complete your timeline and profile, Thank you. 😊
Now.. Did that "more than 3 conviction needs waiver" part was what confuse you?
You've had 1 DUI and 2 drugs related case so you were right to checked on the yes box.
As long as you've submit a complete court records of all those convictions, then no, you do not need a waiver.
