What is the USPS package intercept service and how can you apply for that? I think I'm going to give our package a little bit more time in hopes that it shows up but I think UPS is our next option if USPS doesn't work out. Did you do UPS overnight air?
We thankfully sent a personal check with our package for this kind of situation should it be lost in the mail and we need to send it again.
If the USPS intercept your package they will send your package back to you but if you have time wait until 35 days before GC is expiring. Yes, I used UPS overnight

I know my thread is a bit dead at the moment but I feel like I should update in case someone runs into the same situation:
As of the moment the package still has NOT moved (in transit, arriving late status since 2/15). I went into the post office to see what's up and they have told me that they don't know why it hasn't moved and gave me a number for Consumer Affairs. I called and left a message with them. I also left an email with the USCIS lockbox team to ask them what I should do ("should I send in another package with UPS or just wait with USPS") and I have yet to hear anything back.
We also used the Emma chat with the representative and were asking about what to do in this situation but the agent kept speaking in the language of as if our package was already there. ("It will take us up to 90 days to scan your documents into the system. That's normal right now.")
Very canned response not really related to our situation. It's like, well, it will take up to 90 days to scan our documents to the system when you even receive it which you haven't yet!
And when we asked the USCIS rep whether or not to send in a duplicate they told us outright "no, because you will be charged twice."
I will continue to update as I find things out.
After sending the first package on 1st february which is still in transit ... I have sent the new package through UPS yesterday which was deliverd today at 10am ( Used next day delivery service) because my wife's conditional GC is expiring on 26th March so we had no choice because even USCIS is taking 35 to 40 days send the NOA.
So we have applied for USPS package intercept service if that doesn't work than we will stop the payment for the First package. So it will get rejected from USCIS.

We sent my husbands AOS packet last Thursday (the 11th) and it left the Salt Lake Distribution center and on the 15th it updated as “in transit”
no details on the location whatsoever.
It was supposed to to arrive yesterday.Has this happened to anyone else lately?
I have sent it on February 1st and haven't reached yet, did inquiry about 4 times and nothing yet keep saying in transit. Going to send the new package coming this monday. i wish i could have done next day delivery

I have kind of similar issue too, i sent it on 02/01 through USPS 2 day delivery but somehow my package is still sitting in one usps distribution center for past 15 days
