I'll add myself to this. I-751 has been pending since 9/14/2021, with fingerprints applied on 10/28/2021. No updates on that since, LIN processing center.

    For my N400:

    - Filed: 9/13/2022, received biometric reuse notice that same day.

    - Interview notice: 12/23/2022

    - Interview: 2/8/2023

No decision could be made because A-file was not transferred over. It's been 30 days, and no movement yet on my I-751 either.

    Hello,

Do you have an update on your I-751 n n400?. I had my interview today in Philly and since my ROC is pending, they could not make any decisions so I have to wait.

I just submitted my N-400 tonight 10/24/2022 but I got a Receipt Notice saying they got my application on October 25…  I got another notification for biometrics reuse. I still do not know my service center. I live in Delaware  and my notice didn’t mention the expected processing time. Does anyone know how to find it?. Thank you all and wishing everyone a smooth process.

I got a notification this morning from my lawfully app, that my interview was scheduled in Philadelphia. I went straight to my uscis to check my docs and I saw that the interview is on 3/28/2023. I am overjoyed. I can’t wait to be done with this journey. Wishing everyone a successful process.

The estimated processing time was available on the case status page in myUSCIS, but it looks like they have removed it at the moment, I don't see it anymore either.

I’m sure cos I couldn’t find it as well. We’re all just going to wait it out. A friend of mine filed hers exactly three months ago and she already got her interview date scheduled in Nov. (Philadelphia)

I may be wrong but I believe all naturalizations are being processed at NBC(National Benefits Center). Also you can surely find that info on your notice of action - either top or bottom part.  And your local field office(where the interview is supposed to be held) is easy to identify by typing your zip code on your USCIS website. The expected processing time is really irrelevant and often jumps back and forth. However if you’re still curious you should be able to see that info as soon as you login into MyUscis account 🙌🏻

Thank you so much. Yes, I just saw that it’s being processed at the NBC. My Green card interview was in Philadelphia so I believe that would be my local field office.

I was recently granted US citizenship, and we have done the swearing in. I am trying to file n-600 for my 13 y.o daughter.  Can I use my USCIS account to file or does she need to create a separate account?

Congratulations on your successful process. I don’t have an answer to your question… I just wanted to know how long it took from filing to swearing in?. I am getting ready to file soon

To add to the discussion, I would also wait at least one more day from your earliest filing date as your actual filing date sometimes gets backdated by one day in USCIS’s systems. For instance, I submitted my application for citizenship on 12/29/2020, but at least one document showed “filed on 12/28”. My earliest filing date would have been 12/27, as far as I remember, so waiting two additional days paid off.

Thank you. I’ll do just that to be on the safe side,

When you do ur N400 online and you fill out the survey it will tell you if you can apply for citizenship yet or not.

I recommend making a USCIS acct to better follow you N400 case on the USCIS app.

    Okay! Thanks

Not accurate. Sometimes it’ll let you apply even if you’re not yet eligible. Then you’re out of $700.
The best tool imho is this https://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-early-filing-calculator

Omg! Thanks for letting me know.

  9. Hello everyone!

Thank you all for the help/support. I started this immigration journey, not knowing anything or where to start but everything changed for good when I stumbled upon this website. Never paid any lawyers yet and I haven’t had any problems throughout my journey. I appreciate you all.

I am getting ready to start the citizenship process and I would like to know when to submit.I came to the U.S in May of 2019 but  I have been a PR since 1/23/2020. (As shown on my green card) I live in DE, do you guys know where our applications go?. I mean like field offices etc and how long will this take from starting to the end?.

I’m filing under the 3 yr rule.

I-129F asks for address history of petitioner and address history of beneficiary in separate sections.

The reason  I asked who was asking is that USCIS and State might  be interested in any continuous presence of the beneficiary in any particular country  of 6 months or more, regardless what the purpose of the presence was (tourism or otherwise).

    Okay. Noted

I’m going through similar situation with my hubby’s last name. Sent two online Typographical error request & received an email response for second one saying they forwarded it to adjudicating officer as only he can fix it.I  called yesterday & they said someone will call me in 30 days for the infopass appointment. Should I just go ahead & sent a request letter or wait for them to call ? How did you get yours fixed after sending the letter ? Did you get stamp or new corrected letter ?

Hello! Just send the letter explaining your situation to them. Make sure you include your hubby’s correct name and his alien reg number, not forgetting his case number. Send it to your service center. You’ll get a response quicker this way.  Do not wait for them to call you. You can check my letter on this thread to have an idea of how I did it

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ADVICE!

I sent the letter to NBC (Missouri Service Center) last week and checked my stepdaughter's status today! I can't believe how quick USCIS actually responded to snail mail, less than a week from when they received it:

I didn't get a call or text to set up an InfoPass, but I'm praying this means a new extension letter will be sent out. I'll wait 2-3 weeks and if I don't get the letter I'll call. Thanks again for your suggestion of writing in directly to the service center!!!!

Finally! You don’t need an info pass anymore imho. I regret spending my money and wasting my time traveling to them but it’s because I didn’t know I was gonna get my notice that fast. I got my new Notice with correct names three days ago. Your notice will be on its way to you now so no point going for an info pass. Congrats.
