Mine is yellow too. I got it right after Christmas, but my case was approved after yours, by mid November.
Please keep us posted when you get your interview letter, hopefully it will be in 2019!

@Psquare FYI I reported your post since you are continuing to post negative and argumentative stuff AFTER the mod warned everyone to stop.

To everyone else- you have the option of blocking the above user or you can read their posts but do not respond. Let the mods do what they do.

@digonyc @Hanna Bui I also received the medical courtesy letter.
I did the medical for my previously denied 485 ( with abuser), which has since expired. I called the same doctor, and he will give me a good rate when I have to redo it. The exams we are required to do now take longer, about a week. So we have to plan for that.
The cortesy letter was specific about waiting for an interview letter and bringing the 693  to the interview (do not mail the form).

You can suggest your attoney to write the letter to Vermont for request of your approval notice. I did that, so about 2 months for approval i had got my notice as well. It's very very important document we have to get it.

No, you won't have to stop schooling, it's not the same as working without an EAD. And by God's grace, your petition WILL be approved!
If you don't mind me asking, what program are you studying for? And remember that they're plenty of online and hybrid programs available now, so sometimes you can complete your coursework online and save yourself some gas money and stress from traveling to and from school daily. I did all my schooling, undergraduate and graduate school, online except for when I had to go for my clinical rotations at different hospital locations.
Just stay focused, it will be well worth it at the end 🙂

@Hanna Bui @xoxox I have the same deal, my old and denied 485 date as my priority date on Vawa approval. Abuser is USC. Maybe that’s normal for USCIS now. C31 card and approval notice have arrived. Let’s not worry about it, per Damara’s suggestion.

It shows the priority day of my previous I485 and I-130 (filed the same day for both). My I-485 was denied then i filed vawa.

I understand the VAWA process can be overwhelming, try not to focus on things that do not matter. If your ex was a USC then priority date does not mean anything for you. ONLY if your ex was a LPR then the priority date matters.

Everyone gets a priority date- but it is only looked at for those who ex is and LPR.  For anyone who ex was a USC- the priority date that is printed is N/A- visa numbers are immediately available. For an LPR ex the priority date needs to be current based on the visa bulletin to get a GC. Priority dates are generated on all petitions but are only looked at if its for an ex of an LPR. It can be confusing to have info on your correspondence that is N/A but thats how USCIS does it and it doesnt look like they plan on changing things so people wont be as confused.

I have received very weird letter. It’s not on an official “Notice of Action” form. It’s just a letter saying to appear in the field office regarding i-485 form with the list of documents i should
    bring with me.

Thank you! I’m in Oakland park office, Florida. My vawa was approved in July 2018, and I got interview notice 2 days ago, scheduling on December 18, 3018. However,  online status is still «case was received in my local office».

Are you sure I don’t need to send the I-864w form before my interview, and it’s fine just to bring it with me to an interview?

Do no despair, since 2017 Feb, both my USCIS and DHS accounts were we stuck on "we have scheduled your interview" any update that I recieved was through my Attorney who called a dedicated VAWA hotline available exlusively to Attorneys. I only received an update at 6am on Wednesday morning "card in production" ==> see more details below.
Thanks for checking in, I tried to post last night but fell asleep after driving back to FL, from NC. See my experience below.
@gramercy My Experience was similar to yours. My interview was scheduled for 10:30, I got there at 9:45, was allowed to sit inside but I was checked in and sent upstairs at 10:15. There were only like five persons ahead of me, and they seemed to be coming back out very quickly, I thought this was either a good or bad sign. I got called in about 11am, went in was told to remain standing, then the officer swore me in. I asked him if I could place my folders on his desk and he smiled and asked what are those, I told him I brought all of the documents that I thought he might need because I wanted to make his job more easier. He smiled and said thank you, he asked me if I get approved today if I want the GC to be sent to my lawyer, I told him my address, he asked me for the updated address, I gave him, he had a bit of difficulty getting my weird street name correct, so I offered a paper that I had pre-printed with my A# and all changes in addresses, jobs, school, etc since I submitted the application.

He made a light joke and then said I seemed very prepared. He asked if I had a copy of my arrest disposition, I presented it. He then laughed and said I am going to ask you some questions that may sound stupid, asked a few questions from the I-485 and some he just straight up "Nah I am not going to ask that" he then asked for my updated medical, asked where I worked, I told him and then he asked where I went to Law School and I answered. Then he said "that is it, do you have any questions for me? By the way, thank you for coming so prepared, you can save most of those documents for your N400 IF you get approved.
I told him, I would like to travel soon and before I could finish, he said I cannot tell you today if you are approved, what I can tell you is that I see no reasons why I will not. I will review the file a bit more, and I will probably decide by the end of the day.

At 6 am yesterday, I received an email that they have taken action on my case, I logged in and checked and it "card in production" I am so elated guys. This has been a long journey. I got Married in the last week of June 2016, lived with my spouse until the first week of October, (like about a month after my initial I-485 was filed we separated). Finally, hopefully, I will get my GC in time to go home for Christmas. Thank you to each and every member of this forum who has been supported as I was on this journey. For my fellow VJers that have been waiting for a while, keep the faith. With a marriage that lasted about three months and with all the anti-immigrant talking that was going on it was tough at times to keep the faith. However, soon I will be put this all behind me and focus on school. Hang in their guys, more VAWA and GC approvals are coming this and next month; I believe a wonderful Christmas present is in store. I will post an update again when I receive my GC.
