There is literally no harm in trying. I expedited for similar reasons (and medical reasons) at one of the toughest embassies in the world. Worked just fine!

Yes it’s true. People are filing K3 and it’s pushing their I-130’s through expeditiously. This “trick” is mostly working at Nebraska service center though

Idk if K1 is different from CR1 in this sense but, shouldn’t you only have to show them your 2018 tax returns? 

I think it’s a waste of time, but I have seen it all over immigration groups. 

Yes, your child qualifies for citizenship but there is a process. 

And they will likely ask for DNA tests to prove you’re the father. 

Our case was expedited for medical issues on my end. I have also seen people expedited for less. And there is no harm in trying. A lot of people will discourage you from trying, but you might be surprised if you submit the proper evidence that you may get approved. Good luck.

I would definitely try to expedite it. The thing is, it cannot hurt your case. A lot of people treat expediting like you are cutting in line-I wouldn’t listen to that so much. The worst they can say is no

It does not take two years. More like 12-14 months. But still, that’s time. Patience is key.

I don’t know why people think the Lagos embassy is so difficult, it’s really not. As long as your case was well put together you all should be fine. You never know when you will be placed in extended AP, though. I wish you all the best.

Yes. I expedited from Nigeria (one of the toughest countries) took a total of six months. 

Lying to the embassy (under oath) is like putting the nail in the coffin. Big mistake and I know a lot of pieple do it- again, big mistake. You have a lot to do to overcome this now. I’m wishing you the best of luck

Lagos definitely has an age issue. And I wouldn’t do K1 if I were you.
