Just did my N400 interview in Montgomery, Alabama 2 hours ago. I passed and now waiting for oath taking in an hour.
The process was easy. No mention of the pending ROC. I was interviewed alone. No documents were asked. No update on my ROC online but N400 is showing oath ceremony was mailed.
Congratulations!! And thank you for updating us.

Congratulations!! I have my citizenship interview at the OKC office next week with my ROC pending as well. Can you elaborate on what interview was like and if your spouse was present too? Thanks!
Hey! How was your interview? Please update us.

My worries too. I have requested a combo interview. So fingers crossed.
50 minutes ago, Jazii said:By requested U meant u uploaded a letter in the documents to inform them that u had a i751 pending? Yeah, i uploaded that self written letter too. Lets see if that helps us.
I am in the same boat as both of you. I received the interview letter. (I applied for N 400 in December 2022) And I am worried about the I751 combo interview.
I also submitted a self written letter to request the combo interview. Let's see if that helps. And let's keep each other informed. I will post here to keep everyone updated after my interview.

Thanks for sharing the video! Keep in mind that some questions change with elections or other events. e.g leader of house representatives changed lately
Oh yeah thanks for pointing that out.
The video has the speaker of the house wrong. It is Kevin McCarthy now.

Finally got my interview scheduled in May!! What did you use for studying? How much did you actually study? Most of the questions are either common knowledge or I already learned in college
Congratulations on the appointment. And that is a great question. I am currently studying for my interview that is scheduled for April 18th. And I could use some advise as well.
I found a YouTube video last night that i found incredibly useful because it has the 100 civics test questions categoried into groups which makes it super easy to remember especially that some of these questions are kind of similar. This is the video link:
I bookmarked it and I am planning on playing it on repeat lol.
I also looked up some videos for common mistakes, or mock interviews, or documents to bring. (Or even the writing test if you are nervous about spelling like I am, I swear these auto-correct features on our phones and computers are a double edged sword lol) I don't have specific ones to recommend but a YouTube search will give you an abundance of videos.
Also something that was helpful is a video that explains traffic tickets and how you are supposed to report them, since I have one traffic ticket and the official wording was confusing.
I am waiting for other people's suggestions as well.
Good luck on your interview!

Update: I went to my N400 interview and while I requested combo interview, the officer didn't get my file in time. He said I've submitted enough in the N400 to get the I-751 approved (and implied that there won't be another interview), but he gave me no timeline. So back to waiting on decision 😑
This is very disappointing. I am sorry you have to go through this.
Where is your feild office if you don't mind me asking? My N400 interview is 04/18 at orlando, Fl and I also requested a combo interview but no news on my I-751 yet.

Hello December filers!! I don't know why I haven't seen this thread before. I was following November filers because I couldn't find the December one.
Anyway. I received good news yesterday (online, i didn't receive the official letter yet). I got my interview scheduled for 4/18th Orlando, Fl office.
I applied for my N400 on 12/25th (yes on Christmas day). Based on the 3 year rule as a citizen's spouse. I have my I-751 pending since February 2022. And I am not sure if they will do combo interview or not because no updates are showing on my I-751 case but I included a cover letter for my N400 application and I requested a combo interview so we will see what happens.
Congratulations for everyone that already passed and I will be updating everyone when I do my interview. I am rooting for everyone 🙏

by GOD's grace I passed and got approved of my Naturalization application♥️
The officer asked me for my information, and my husband's and I was able to show my traffic ticket. After that she asked me Yes and No questions that was in the N-400 form and she stated I passed! I cried and said thank you to the officer!
I couldnt remember the civics though
I an beyond grateful for the emotional support in this group especially @AHC_2015 and @Stillwinning!!!😊 !!!!! We may not know each other personally but only here on this forum but you guys supported me emotionally and I deeply appreciate it!
I have my oath ceremony this March 31, 2023!
Let us be positive and claim that this year is our best year yet!!! #GratefultoGOD
First of all congratulations!
Can you tell me what was the deal with the traffic ticket. I just got a traffic ticket 2 weeks ago after I already applied for my N400. I am not sure what to do? Should I just take it with me to the interview?

For I751 or N400.
N400. My I751 is at the National Benefits center.
Edit to say, that National Benefits center is the same as the Missouri center. My case number for I751 starts with MSC.

Just received notice that our interview is scheduled for Feb. 14th 2023 for my wife's naturalization at the Tampa office. We are November N400 filers. More specifically November 8th 2022 We filed online. The I 751 is still pending so I imagine it will be a combo interview.
Any other experiences out there with combo interviews? Anyway it's moving along and I'm wishing everyone the best.

Thank you both for updating us and good luck.
Was the "estimated time of approval" on the website accurate? Assuming you filed online.

Yeah my window opens on 22 December though I need to research if I actually need 3 years worth of taxes since I only haven't filled yet for the current one (so I only have for 2020 & 2021)
My window for N400 opened up on December 4th. I am almost done with filling the application and will be submitting it soon (probably today). I think we should be good with only 2020 and 2021 taxes. I also included my husband's 2019 taxes because he filed jointly with me even tho I had no income and wasn't living here yet.
By the time we get an interview scheduled we should be able to take 2022 taxes with us to the interview. But I am definitely taking advantage of the 90 days early filing window.

Hi.
I took an interview on Sep.14 and am approved on Sep.22.
Finally I got a 10 years Green Card on Sep.28.
I hope this timeline helps.Congratulations. Do you mind me asking where did your case went to? I mean which was your service center?

I am really starting to get worried. My office is NBC too and I haven't gotten my biometrics appointment yet. What do you all think? Maybe it depends on the field office? Mine will be Orlando.

Hey, I received my biometric appointment letter on Feb 26
Thank you for replying. I see that they received your case on the 8th. They received mine on the 10th. So, I am hoping mine will show up soon.
If you don't mind me asking which center were you at?
And also, did your online status update to show that you have the biometric appointment?
Thanks in advance 🙏🙏

Hey everyone! Anyone got any case updates or Biometrics appointment other than Sarahinam?
I am wondering how long should I expect the wait to be, if anyone knows?

Hi @LFP - did you send your application through USPS priority express/normal priority and when was it delivered to USCIS? Just trying to figure out the time between USPS delivery date and USCIS sending notification. Thank you!!
I know you didn't ask me. But I will tell you my timeline hope it helps. I sent mine with USPS priority express on 02/04 (a Friday). I received a notification from USPS that it was delivered on the 9th. I received the USCIS text notification on 02/14. And when I check the USCIS application status it says they received it on the 10th??
From what I have seen with other comments, it takes 4 or 5 days on average for USCIS to notify you after they receive your package.
Good luck.

Thanks for this info @lsu_mike. @Nag & Matt mine was also MSC and I was confused as well but saw that it was national benefits center.
I just followed your timeline, it will probably be good for me and you to update each other.
Good luck!

That’s where ours was sent. Usually they process the ones that will more than likely be scheduled for interview.
our processing time for MSC was 31 months. But some of that time they were closed because of COVID.
filed 3/2019
interview 12/2021
received approval notice 5 days after interview.
no RFE’s, just straight forward basic I-751.
hopefully y’all’s will be quicker. Good luck!
Thank you so much! That was very informative.
I hope your N-400 gets approved fast.

MSC = National Benefits Center located in Missouri, maybe it's listed under National Benefits Center. I just looked Missouri or MSC is not listed. Not sure why, but you are correct Missouri!
Thank you so much for replying.
I just attached a screenshot. The processing times website doesn't list Natioal benefits center.
Is your case in the same office as me?? I don't like being in an office where they have no available information about it online.

Hello everyone,
We sent our package on the 4th, USPS sent us a delivered notification on the 9th. And we still didn't receive any notification from USCIS even though we filed the Form G-1145, e-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance
Does anyone know how much longer we should expect to wait. Or should I start getting worried already?
Update for us, we received the text notification yesterday (02/14).
Our case number starts with MSC. Does anyone else have that? According to Google MSC is Missouri office. But it is not one of the 5 offices that should be handling I - 751. When I go to Processing times website, I can't find Missouri. Does anyone know what is going on? Is this a new office. Or did I misinterpret the data???
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone!
I did my N400 interview yesterday. My spouse was with me and we were nervous because we were not sure if he will be allowed in there with me or not.
Our feild office is Orlando, Fl office.
My husband was not only allowed inside the building, but he was required to attend the interview. We did a combo interview.
The officer started with the I-751 first and said she can't work on the N400 until after she is done with the I-751. So she requested our 2021 taxes (which we submitted with N400) she didn't have them but luckily I had copies of everything. So I gave her both 2022 and 2021 taxes. She then asked if we want to submit any updated evidence. Like insurance cards or pictures which we did. (We don't pay rent or mortgage, she asked about those as well but they were not applicable for us).
She had small conversation and we let her know that we just celebrated our 5 years wedding anniversary (4/16). And that we had the week off and we were going to travel but we had to cancel because of the interview. Then she said the I-751 was approved. She looked at my husband and told him to stay silent and asked me if I am ready. She asked the civics questions then reading and writing. She then updated my case, because I changed my work address and received a traffic ticket. I showed her the ticket and the receipt that I paid the ticket. She asked more details about it. She asked me questions from the N400 application as well. Then she said I was approved and to wait for the ceremony. She gave me the paper that says approved.
Our interview was at 12:45 pm. And we waited until 3pm for the ceremony. And now I am an American!!
Civics questions:
Which ocean is on the east coast?
What did Susan B Anthony do?
What is the capital of your state?
In 1803 which territory did the US buy from France?
When do we celebrate independence day?
What is one right that is only for US citizens?
Reading sentence:
What state has the most people?
Writing sentence:
California has the most people.
Good luck for everyone else! And make sure you take your spouses with you.
