Hi Laras. I was wondering the same question too because I plan to schedule the interview on February 2019.

Can I get the link of the forum? Because the instructions they sent me only mention one year current tax documents and didn't mention about 2017 or 2018. I'm curious too :)

but our current plan is bring my fiance's 2018 tax documents because he just started working on Oct 2017.

Hi Tirza, this is the forum :)

Because my fiancee Would be able to send me his recent tax returns which ia 2018 tax returns by the mid of February or even at the end of February. But if we can use 2017 he Will send it to me soon, so we can make plann for interview around February also :)

Glad to find Indonesian fellows here. I suggest you to wait until you receive the email from the embassy. They will email the petitioner first then they will email the beneficiary.

When the status is ready on CEAC website, it means they have received the soft copy (scanned) of your approved petition.

Mine was ready since Dec 13, and my fiance got email from the embassy on Dec 21, then they email me (P3) on Dec 26. According to DHL tracking trick, it said that the case has arrived in Jakarta on Dec 17 though. So, it's good to wait rather than annoy them by sending their email. Because they receive so many emails asking for the same information. While waiting your fiance can schedule the medical check up and fill DS 160 & preparing other documents. Just a thought. You can message me if you want me to share the instructions from US Embassy in Jakarta-Indonesian P3 😊

thank you :) i emailed them yesterday not to ask for the interview schedule, but simply questions about tax returns, i was wondering what income taxes should we bring for the interview, 2017 or 2018? because i was reading in the other forum they mentioned it, if the interview schedule before April 15th 2019 we can use tax returns from 2017, but if it is after april 15th 2019 we should bring 2018 tax returns.

Congrats to all those who’re approved! Perhaps it would be the 1st night for you guys after long sleepless nights that you get a nice sleep or can’t sleep from excitement :) My NOA is June 11th & 14th old/new. Who knows, maybe I’ll give you the good news anytime now 🙏 I have a question though. Is there anyone here who’s got approval notice at an odd time in US? I guess I’m asking, should I not expect any notification after business hours?

Yess, we got an email from USCIS at 3Am US time 😊

    Hey everyone

I'm planning on sending about 30 or so dated photos of me and my fiancee together. None of them look like a  engagement party or a wedding. Most have both of us, some have just her in same dates and locations where photos of both of us were taken. Is there any disadvantage to sending a lot of photos, like 30+?

I've read stories of people getting denied after sending in 1500 pages of messages so I was just wondering.

We sent our petition with a lot of pictures too and it was approved in 173 days 😊

I don't think this is something you want to hear, but. Some people who's also legit with a very easy case from previous months still waiting also. You're not alone in this process.

Hang in there a bit more @LarryHickman

You're 6 months far already. Try to. chanel your focus on something else. Documents required for the interview, wedding thingy, AOS process. Get fit for the medical. List of things you two would want to do or get or do around the house. Anything to keep the good mood in the relationship.

hi carina, just realize that you are indonesian huh :D  me too. hopefully we get our noa2 real soon :D

oh does it have to be the original paper for the intent to sign? because those things always take 6 weeks or something or get lost in the mail -_-

dan ya saya bisa kasih email anda ke dia nanti, pasti kami akan perlu bantuan nanti ketika dia harus diwawancarai, makasih!!

Yesss, I think so, cause I was doing so many research about it before we sent it to USCIS, and most of them told me it has to be original sign. Give them evidence of your Relationship as much as you can, to make it more legit.

Yess give it to her, and also if you still confusing about the document just tell her to contact me, it would be easier to talk to her with bahasa hahahaha so I can explain her clearly about it.

Don't forget to double check again all the papers before you send it to them. Good luck!

Ok I am about done with the i-129f form,

what else do I need to put in the package? I have letters and pictures and boarding passes as evidence of a relationship and that we have met in the last 2 years.

I need a photocopy of my passport right? anything else?

    oh the check haha

Also the 2x2 pictures of her and of me

and the intent to marry forms. Can she just print it out, sign it, then scan it back in and email it to me? Or does she have to send it via snailmail? -_-

    anything else I'm missing?

Don't forget to write your name and also your fiance name in the back passport photo style.

For the letter intent to marry letter she need to send you the original paper with sign. Anyway I'm Indonesian, you can tell your fiance to email me at dlaras17@yahoo.com then I can give her my number so we can talk on WhatsApp about it. Feel free to contact me anytime :)

    Another question

" Answer all questions fully and accurately.  If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed.  If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed."

So there is this paragraph that says for every question I don't need to answer I need to type or write N/A, but on the example form they just left it blank. Which one is correct?

    Write it as N/A :)

    Quick question,

When I am filling out the indonesian addresses, should I put the addresses in english or indonesian? Indonesian uses roman alfabet, but im wondering if I should put "road" instead of "jalan" or "south" instead of "selatan"

    example:

enlgish: Jalan senopati no 115, Jakarta Selatan

    or

indo: Senopati Road number 115, South Jakarta

    Thanks!

Hi, I'm Indonesian, mine is with Indonesiaan addresses, I put it the same way like what it says on my ID card (KTP) your girlfriend must be know it 😄

Is this the notice we will always see until NOA2 or RFE(hopefully not) or does it change before NOA2?

On May 29, 2018, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WAC****, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by June 28, 2018, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Heey, yeah thats NOA1 😊 i guess it would be Change once we get NOA 2 or RFE :)

Anyway we have the same timeline they received our paper on 29th may and we got NOA 1 on 2nd June.

OK! got some more questions about the I-129f form.

    1. What's the difference between my postal code and my zip code?

    2. What do I put at my province?  I live in Tennessee, so I just leave it blank?

    3.  I don't know if anyone here would know the answer to this, but from 2015-2017 I was in Indonesia serving as a missionary. We moved around every few months. We DID have a "mission home" in Jakarta, it was like a center place where all our mail was sent and where we technically lived for those 2 years. So would I just need to put this mission home address as a place I have lived in the past 5 years? Or do I need the the addresses of all the places I stayed at?

    4. Confused about question 47, What action did USCIS take of Form i-129F (for example approved, denied, revoked)? I leave this blank right? because I haven't submitted it before?

    I'll have more later~

    thanks

We received NOA1 last May 10, im just worry to get RFE my fiance stated he was arrested way back 1998. Disorderly conduct, trespassing, and drug paraphernalia. But when he got his police report it was just one case of arrest which is just disorderly conduct. He still stated The 3 cases even if just one case on his police report, because he told me those 2 might be gone now on the police record but USCIS double check the his back ground. He said he dont want to lie and get in trouble. Is that okay we sent our case without statement on his lose criminal record? Im anxious about our case 😞

Keep thinking positively ;) one of my friend, her boyfriend (husband now) didn't put any info on 129f form if he has a kid, just because he think he never been married with his ex girlfriend, so he considering himself as a single and NO kid, they even just met once and applied for the K1 less than a year in relationship. They met online on February 2017, meet in person April 2017, and applied for the K1 on June 2017. And glad they made it, she got her visa on March 2018🤗 Soo keep spirit for you, fingers crossed!🤗
