Just done with my interview today at USCIS Portland OR and it was super smooth. Lasted less than 30mins and the CO just asked some random/relevant questions from the I485 form. Some questions asked were:
- Date of Marriage
- Me and my husband's full name
- Our DOBs
- Our home address
- My Parents' names
- Our kids DOBs
 
Thats it! CO informed us how long will it take for the GC to arrived.

Ahh I had no idea this thread existed!! Maryland here! 🙋🏼‍♀️ I just got a notification today that my interview was scheduled! PD is October 19, 2018. No EAD or AP yet! I am soooo excited! It's been a long 8 months since I arrived in the US, not working or being able to travel out of the country!! How far out does Baltimore usually schedule interviews?

I moved from Canada->US on a K-1 visa in October 2018, and got married December 3rd. I was a self-employed musician in Canada up until I left, and am still waiting for my EAD so I haven't worked since arriving (US income for 2018 is $0). My husband and I have figured out how to do the Married Filed Jointly US return (including my worldwide income and a statement that I want to be taxed as a Resident Alien for all of 2018). What I'm having a tough time finding is whether the fact that I got married in 2018 will affect my Canadian return. My husband has never lived in Canada, so only I have to do the return, and obviously I will say I'm married because I am! However, I wasn't married until after I left Canada...Do I have to include my husband's US income on my Canadian return? I know there's a form to fill in reporting that I emigrated, and telling them what day I left, but that's all the information I can find. I want to do it all correctly, so any help would be appreciated

Hi Jason, Northern VA AOS filer here...I'm waiting right along with your wife's son! I had biometrics December 26th, and my online status is "Case Received." No idea why they can't at least bother to update it so we can see the process! Good luck  

I’m crying!!! 😭♥️ Got the text at 7:41am this morning that my status updated. FYI...I have never seen any updates on the new site. I’ve only had updates on the apps, and the old site. I am so freaking happy right now!!! I’m hoping my interview won’t be too far out!!!! ☺️

Mine too was updated!!! I am so happy!!! 

So we just had our interview today in Portland OR office. We were approved on the spot.
The officer went through questions from the I-485. He was really nice , no complaints there . He asked general questions , how we met , where are we living now ,  and asked for supporting documents . We only had the health insurence and our rent agreement and we brought couple pictures with family and friends. After that the officer said that he doesn't need anymore proof and everything is in check . He told us about the removed of conditions and to expect our GC in the mail in the next 2-3 weeks. 30 min after we left the building the USCIS app updated to case must be reviewed and 15 min later changed to New Card Is Being Produced.
 
PS : one thing I would definitely recommend giving the fact that the officer complimented us for doing  , is to write the dates and the names of the places on the back of the pictures. Again that was something the officer appreciated and I would say made things really smooth.

Just received a message that we been schedule interview cant wait to get the notice I will keep you posted

Interview is completed and case is approved. For those who are waiting, don’t lose hope. You will get it. Once I stopped checking constantly and let go, wheels started moving.

Hi guys, I submitted my aos on Oct 4th, got my EAD & AP combo card on 3/7/19, my interview date was 3/1/19, however co told me he couldn't find my medical record, but was happy he had my vaccination record. Finally my aos was approved on 3/20/19 and received my green card yesterday. Such a relief~~~~~At least I don't have to worry for 2 years~~ Plus I am almost 6 months pregnant. Life is so beautiful~~hahaha

Hey! My local field office is Fresno and mine was scheduled on March 20, my receipt date is oct 1. I’m filing from B2 to 10 year perm resident. 

Got EAD/AP combo card today and renewed my driver license. Feeling like a million bucks! 

My status finally changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" I know it can sit at that status for months, but I'm just so happy to see some kind of update!

Girlllllll, mine updated on March 19th ready to be scheduled... Then..March 20: Scheduled...Then..March 25: notice for interview in the mail..... how quickly the next step is, depends on your field office... but get hopeful........
