Where do you track the case numbers?

I use a few different places to track mine, but if you want to track case numbers close to yours, use the case tracker app. Go to search at the bottoms, and type in a case number that’s like 20 below your number, and search however many you want (I search 50) and you can see what their status is too.

Lol me neither. I just checked. A case two numbers below mine just updated to "card was mailed". It was "case received" earlier this evening and went straight to "card was mailed".

I'm sleeping with the notifications ringer on tonight.

A case number one below mine changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" yesterday. I hope it means something!!! 🤞

The didn't confirm ours. Good for you.

On a side note, they denied ours due to the "no-receipt" of rfe even their level 2 USCIS customer service confirmed that they have it. So good for those who gets a good service and correct information.

I'm not looking for a compliment, or trying to prove you wrong. I'm just stating the facts to help people. People rely on the information we post here. It's important to be accurate.

From my understanding, if you select yes, then you will have to wait a Long time before you get your ssn.

And if you want to use your ssn to apply for drivier license or renew it, or in other circumstances to use your physical ssn card, you will have trouble.

just spend sometime at SSA to get your SSN replaced. You will find it more convenient.

We have very similar timelines, and I'm in Maryland. 🙋‍♀️

    AOS, I-131 and I-765: filed October 22nd

    NOA1: November 14th

    Biometrics appt: December 6th

Good luck to everyone! Hoping we all receive the EAD and travel visas sooner rather than later! I’ve heard the AOS for the green card is currently taking a minimum of 12 months 😣

It depends on the field office. I'm in a AOS group on Facebook, and some people get their green card within 6 months, while others wait more than a year. Florida seems to be the fastest.

Interesting. Quite possibly she has a military spouse and is under expedition and they use priority dates in their expedition situations.

Or somebody either who is a perfectionist or incompetent is working on her case.

She did end up having a military spouse and she expedited!

I found the FB post you were talking about. She is definitely a military expedite and didn't mention that hence the PD.

    Irrelevant to our K1 situation.

    LOL right.

    Nope.

K1s and CR1s dont get a priority date.

A priority date is for those applicants of family based visas who have to wait in line until a Visa is available for them. There are only so many available visas per year so they are given a priority date in the line so to speak. Priority dates are given to family based visas but marriage based ones are excluded because there is always a Visa available for us.

Ok. There's a girl in the AOS Facebook group I'm in adjusting her status from a K1 Visa, and she has a priority date on her I-485 letter. She posted a pic of the letter, asking what a priority date was and someone asked her what she was adjusting from and she said K1 and that the date is her NOA2 date from her i129F.
