Hello everyone! I will be eligible to file for N400 in the next couple weeks, super excited. I am married to a US citizen and I changed my last name after we got married. However, I kinda regret having a different last name at this point and am planning to apply for citizenship using my maiden name. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you so much in advance. 

Hello everybody! It’s been a while. I got a correspondence today stating my card is on its way. No interview or RFE. Folks from Lincoln Office: things are moving! Hang in there.

I would call USPS and ask about the package with the tracking number if you have one. And keep checking your bank accounts to see if your check or credit card has been cashed/charged.

I sent my package 09/18 was supposed to be delivered 09/21, I signed up for text notifications for the tracking #, on 9/22 I called USPS with the tracking info and they said it was running late, 2 days later no news still running late according to them, yesterday called again and my package is still "running late".

USPS is having lots of issues, but for my tranquility my card was charged yesterday with the $680 fee by USCIS.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. The check was cashed on Friday, hopefully I will hear from them this week. 

The check was finally processed yesterday morning, but my husband did not tell me until dinner time, because he forgot! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Lol

Should I just call Phoenix office? I could not even track the USPS code number on their website. I have no idea if my envelope was delivered. It has been 11 days since we sent it.

Its been a week they received my package but no email/text regarding that - as per what G-1145 form is supposedly for. 

 

Hello there! I sent my envelope on the 14th and haven’t heard from them yet. Check yet not processed. I am starting to worry and regret for sending it through USPS. 
 

Also, what is the likelihood of being invited for another interview if enough evidence was provided?

Hello everyone! My GC expires on 11/30, so it is finally that time of the year! This forum has already helped me a lot. My husband and I were able to gather all the supporting documents yesterday and the envelope is ready to be sent tomorrow! 
Does anyone know if it would be possible to travel abroad in November and come back before the expiration date without issues, in case I don’t have the extension letter by then? Good luck to you all! 

Hello guys! We had our interview on 11/27, and my GC arrived yesterday (12/8). We are so glad this is over (well, at least for the next 2 years or so). Best of luck to you guys that are still waiting. Hang in there, it will come soon! 

Hey guys, I am so happy, got my letter from USCIS, my interview is scheduled for 11/27, Milwaukee office. Finally!! 

Such a big relief not having to renew the combocard, I was planning to start doing that this week. 

I will let you know about the final decision. Hope you guys hear sth soon too. 

Anyone that got Combocard in May planning to renew it within the next month? I read somewhere that the EAD can still be used for awhile after the expiration date. Is it true?

Ultimately, I got a new passport (I applied  for AOS last year and my old passport would expire next December), I guess I will have to send them a new copy. So tired of this process. Takes forever. 

Hello guys! No changes since May, when I got my combocard. I am considering to renew it soon, as it takes soooooo long and no signs of GC (since March, ready to be scheduled for an interview). 

I haven't heard anything from them since the approval of my combocard, in May. No interview scheduled, nothing!

Hello my friends! I would like to share that FINALLY I got a notification that my EAD card is being produced. I really thought this day would never come lol. No updates on AP (still "we received"). Thank you everyone for the support and help. Cannot wait to celebrate with all of you that are still waiting for it. Hang in there. 

Hello guys! I am a late December filer, which makes me half December, half January. I am on day 142, no updates on EAD/AP/interview. Still "we received" everywhere. Anyone on the same boat?

Absolutely, SarahMV. Congratulations on your interview. It might be a big relief that the end of this long waiting is so close! 

Hey guys! It's been awhile that my case status for permanent resident is "error" on egov, but "case received" on myuscis (last update was on 03/26, but I don't know what). Therefore, I cannot follow it on both app trackers. Anyone with same experience? 

I haven't heard anything about EAD/AP. Everything remains the same. Day 139 today.

Hello guys! My first time here. Also a December 2017 filer. Today is day 132 since we sent all the paperwork. Still as "we received your case" (Dec 29th) on both online case status. Very frustrating.
