Still waiting on that Noa2 😩😩 
What are the possible causes for delays? Everything seemed pretty straight forward no criminal records etc.  We have k2s, would that effect anything at this stage? I’m trying to be patient 🙈

My hands are still shaking, but I'm extatic to say that we have been approved!!!! 
Our approval came yesterday on the new website! 
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for each and everyone one for you still waiting for approval. Good luck in the rest of your journey ☺️

Another week goes by with no NOA2

im a Oct 11 filers hope to hear soon or get an Updated my Background check has been completed on Feb 27, hope to get something today...

it sucks doesn’t it. Even more so because you’re so far apart and no one around you understands what  you’re going through.  I try to stay positive and think, one day closer.  Then i check the status and disappoint myself 😂 girl just needs a miracle over here already.

I am also obsessing so don’t feel bad. Once this part is done, the waits aren’t a problem (who cares if I takes 2 years to adjust status as long as you’re there).
 
But no, the background checks are on the petitioner and the beneficiary.

I do too 😭 I get so impatient seeing other cases after mine getting approved

My.uscis.gov & the other is just uscis.gov. Tier2 is who has information on background checks, although when I called she told me that it’s an internal thing and she can’t see it. You just have to tell tier1 you need to talk to tier2

For the 'old' site you do not need to create a login account. It is at:  https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
You create an account and login to the 'new' site at: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

What is the old and new sites everyone talks about to check status? I have no idea which is the one I am checking. 
I feel like time has stood still since the start of February, and to see people being approved left right and centre, as much as I am happy for them, my heart sinks a little that I’m still stuck with “My case was received”.  My fiance called yesterday and was not given much info at all, only the it can take 7.5 months blah blah.  How did you guys find out if background check had been done etc.  And how do you all cope with this wait?! We’ve been together since 2013 and this past 5/6 months has felt much longer lol. 
Although I am so envious of you all that have received your NOA2s, congratulations ❤️

Pooley, we have the same timeline 😄  getting nervous for this Noa2, seems this past month has lasts forever!

Just make sure to list the children on the i129f. When it’s time for scheduling interview and medical, that’s when you’ll do things for the k2. (Separate medical, ds160, etc)
