You have no VJ timeline. Were you adjudicated in the Vermont Service Center (EAC)?
Yes I was, EAC was who approved and processed.

- you are required submit your AR-11 (Change of address) no earlier than 30 days before your move and up to 10 days after you move. You can do it online, by the way. If your I-864 sponsor is your spouse and they're moving with you, they would need to submit the I-865.
- There is no way to know how moving will affect your processing.
- The will likely relocate your file from EAC to WAC. Right now WAC = 16.5 to 24 months and EAC = 8.5 to 17 months. It looks like you would go from a faster to a slower processing center if they relocate your I-751.
Thanks. If this ends up taking longer than the 18month extension letter, what happens next?

I'm moving in 1 week from NJ to WA.
I have received my 18month extension letter on 2/2/2021.
My processing center is EAC (slow).
I received my latest updated waiving fingerprints on 2/16.
My questions are:
- I assume I have to submit a change of address to USCIS (and not just rely on USPS mail forwarding).
- Does anyone know how this will affect my processing?
- Will they keep at the same center or change?

Hello! We are in a similar boat—we sent it later (Jan 6th 2021) but never received notification of receipt only USPS tracking told us it arrived. What happened for you/any updates? I’m worried since we filled out G1145 and it’s been more than two weeks.
I wouldn't worry. Like most of the conversations on here, it is taking roughly 4-6 weeks for USCIS to make their way through the incoming applications. You probably won't get an e-notification until after they cash the check or charge your credit card. I'm expecting to see some movement second week of February.

Have you gotten a e-notice yet?

Did you send joint taxes or its not necessary?
We didn’t, only because we filed “married filing separately” because we would get a larger return back from the gov’t. I didn’t want to submit that and have that be some sort of red flag. I also know there are some opinions in this group about whether or not tax returns are enough anymore.

Video regarding USCIS receipt delays from US immigration. While it does not explicitly call out I-751, it no doubt applies to it, grouped in the category "others".

Quick question - I sent my documents via UPS and the Proof of Delivery for the AZ address says "Received by West, Left at Mailroom". Do other people's say anything different? Should it say lockbox?

Hello everyone,
My window opened on 12/26. Filed and mailed today 1/3 through UPS.
Let me know when you get a lock box notice. I sent my 12/28 and UPS said it was delivered 12/29, but I haven't received an email saying lock box has received. Probably due to holidays?

Just curious, on any of your bank statements, did you black out the amount of money? Or just left it as is?
I included the amounts.

Hello,
I'm posting this in Jan/2021 as well - my window began late December 28th, 2020. We sent my documents via UPS on 12/28 and UPS says is was delivered the follow day, 12/29.
However, I have not received an e-notification (is that what they call lock box?) or any emails/texts at this point. Do you think that’s because of holidays? Any thoughts?
I’m filing jointly with my spouse. I originally entered the US on an L1-A.
For the groups knowledge here’s what we sent:
- Form G-1145 (request for e-notification)
- Form G-1450 (authorizing a credit card transaction for the filing fee of $680.00)
- Form I-751
- Copy of my permanent resident card
- Copy of our apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy
- Copies of statements from our joint checking and savings accounts
- Copy of the car insurance policy, showing joint coverage
- Copy of our renter’s insurance, showing joint coverage
- Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage
- Photographs of us together on various trips and from our day-to-day life.

We completed our I-485 interview back in March and received my Permanent Resident card shortly after.
Now I'm receiving USCIS notifications stating they have sent me a letter scheduling my interview as it pertains to my I-485. But we already had our interview and I'm holding a green card!
Any insight as to the error?

Great thanks folks! Yeah, I F'd up and didn't file them concurrently.

I've received my EAD card and it says Not Valid For Reentry to US. It's valid from 9/20/18 until 9/19/19.
I'm currently on an L1 visa that expires in March, awaiting approval on my I-485 (marriage based).
Can I travel outside the USA and reenter? I'm confused.
If I don't get my greencard by March, and my visa expires, can I travel outside the US and reenter?

Sooooo, I re-submitted over a week ago. I sent via Fedex, so they received last Monday. Typically the checks get cashed within a few days of receipt. It's now been a week.
Am I just being neurotic or should I be concerned? I filled the $1225.

Sounds good! I'll do the same. Thank you for your help. Good luck with everything! Sounds like it's moving along.

My GOD! How embarrassing (hanging head in shame) Thank you.
Do you know if I still need to file a separate fee for the I-765 if I'm filing with my I-485? There was a notice saying I didn't supply proper payment for that form either, but the instructions state I don't need to if filing together.

I recently received a returned I-485 and I-765 application, siting incorrect payment amount.I submitted a total of $1,125 for application and biometric fee based on the instructions on the I-485 page. It said I do not need to file the $410 I-765 filing fee if I'm filing with my I-485.Please help me understand what fees I should be filing if this incorrect.I am a 38 year old Male.

My I-485 was delivered last Tuesday along with my check. When I submitted my last round of paperwork, the check was cashed within a few days. This time around it seems to be taking longer. This happening to anyone else, should I be concerned?

I am married to a US citizen. I am in the US on an L1A visa which I received before we met/married.
We recently received our I-797 approval notice and are now filing our I-485.
I am confused if I file the I-765 along with the I-485. I cannot find the eligibility category for which I belong.

in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
My two cents. When I had my in person interview with the USCIS agent I asked the same thing - "should my application to remove conditions still be pending when I reach my 3 year mark, should I file my N-400?" He said that the system is so archaic that they use physical files, and so you could potentially slow things down, because they may require different departments to access your file.
I'm not sure if that's totally true, but he said it wouldn't make it faster.
