I'm sorry getting a tourist visa then marrying to cut in front of the line is the right way? Guess I was mixed up on how it is supposed to be done.

    Hello,
Hope you are doing well. I'm writing to update my case for people who have the same situation.
So, my spouse went for the biometric appointment as requested. It turned out there was a sex offender having the same name with my spouse's in national database. That guy is residing in North Carolina, while we are living in Texas. Our case is clear now, and we are ready to be schedule for an interview.

It's really ridiculous. I don't know why they couldn't differentiate two individuals based on age, birthday, location, etc.

Well, that's clearly with regard to the AWA.

Either there's something he's not mentioning or their records are getting mixed up (hence one reason they do biometrics to confirm certain things instead of just using what they have on file already). If it's a mix-up, it'll get sorted out in the end...it just might take a little longer to get there.
  10. Thanks

Are you talking about receiving the general letter for his biometrics appointment, or is this a letter that specifically states the above?

If the second, would be helpful to scan (or type the exact wording) of the letter here so we can see exactly what you are talking about.
