Another NYC (Brooklyn) filer, filed on September 28th 2018, interview is on December 5th! I got a pleasant surprise as I had been getting ready to apply for my EAD extension, but got the interview date instead! 

Glad to see some movement on cases filed from NYC, as I just sent my package a few days ago. Just waiting on the EAD so I can do something productive, like open a bank account!

Hi there! Guess I fall into this group as I filed on 09/26. Just buckling down for the long wait, and trying not to burn through all our savings!

He was a real bad officer. But from just observation alone before seeing him, he seemed nice. Haha jokes on me - either way! I’m here so all is good 

Yeah, it's funny how you forget all that #### once you're here and planning a wedding! 8 days until ours, and I'm only starting to fill out the AOS paperwork. How long did it take you guys?

Do your DS160, gather all documents you need, do your medical and get the results in hand BEFORE you send in your notification of readiness. 

It shouldn't take too long, go to the Garda station and get your police certificate, and schedule your medical today.

Wow is right! We arrived on the same date, but my POE was Dublin via pre-clearance, but since I was in secondary for over 1hr30m, I nearly missed the flight! Immigration sucks everywhere!

Oh I see. I just thought it was strange since they said my embassy “has approved your request for expedited visa processing”. Thanks anyway!

So today has been a bit crazy, got an email from NVC, case is now in transit!And then my medical got moved up from June 13th to May 29th! So, my fiancee is putting the final touches to the affidavit and will send once we get packet 3. 

Also got an email saying my case has been expedited, but I didn't file for one? Either was I guess not much can come from expediting it now anyway. Has anyone else seen this?

Mine has. And I got the case number last night! So I booked the medical and the earliest date I could get was June 13th, which is annoying but I'm on the cancellation list so I hope to be moved up. So now my fiancee is prepping the affidavit. (though we mistakenly actually filed it with the 129f)

I called the NVC for the 2nd time today, it arrived there on the 14th. And is now being processed electronically, and it’s in their system. Still saying 8 weeks for a case number but it’s just spiel. The 1st lady I talked to was incredibly rude, but today I talked to Gus, who was so polite and helpful. He told me to continue checking my email and to check the NVC often. (He also said 8 weeks but he has to say that) So I’m going to call back every day and hopefully get the case number soon!
