Hello filers, I filed my removal of conditions on March 8. As per USPS, package was delivered on March 12 but until now I haven’t received any text or email notification from USCIS.My check hasn’t encashed yet. Is there any number to call to make a follow up? I appreciate your replies.

This a 2020 year thread. I believe you meant to post in 2021 thread. It is taking USCIS many weeks - 2 or 3 months to cash check and issue NoA. So you have a long wait ahead of you.

    Congratulations 👏 👏 👏 👏

Put the date and month issued on your green card and this year 2021. It will tell you when you can apply.

Alternately, you begin online application for citizenship and it will also tell you if you are eligible as first step. It does not let you submit if you are not eligible.

  3. Bright and early this morning, I got the following update on my I-751 case.

On March 24, 2021, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

    So relieved!

I applied for my citizenship on March 9th, 2021 online.

Hello everyone, are we supposed to get an email or mail or both for the bio reuse. I got my receipt but still haven’t gotten my bio apt or reuse.

    N400 filed on 3/2/2021

Check the documents tab online and see what you have under USCIS notices. I had two notices there - receipt notice and biometrics re-use notice.

There is no separate status update on biometrics reuse.

Hi I submitted im yesterday I got November 2021 as estimated completion and 5 days as estimated wait time ..can you tell me what is the estimated wait time for plz

It is typically the time to get a paper copy of the NoA. I also got 5 days estimated wait time. And lo behold, 5 days later, I got receipt notice and biometrics re-use notice in the mail.

Receipt notice and Biometrics reuse notice posted under documents tab dated March 9th. It still shows the same estimated completion of September 2021.

Now the endless wait for the interview. Good problem to have.

Some of the February filers got interview scheduled update with interviews in mid-April - but those may be office specific instances ..some offices are faster than others.

Informed Delivery showing receipt notice and biometric reuse notice in today's mail.

Estimate updated to September 2021. Glad for the less time for completion.

I guess it does not stay constant. I had no idea it changes in few hours.

  9. Bringing this thread to the front page. I will be eligible March 9th 2021. I intend to file online on the 10th just to be sure of eligibility.

List of evidence I intend to attach

    Copy of GC

    I-751 NoA

    Tax transcripts for 2018, 2019 and 2020

US Citizen spouse's biometric page of passport

From reading the forums, it seems online filing does not ask for anything else.

Any other tips for online filing?

  10. I am collecting documents to apply for Citizenship next month. My I-751 is still pending.

    1. Copy of GC - front and back - actual size both on same page

    2. Copy of NoA for I-751

    3. Copy of Marriage Certificate

    4. Copy of US citizen spouse's passport photo page with signature

    5. Copy of birth certificate of US citizen spouse

Should bank statements, mortgage statements etc be added for the months beyond the filing month of I-751 since they already have everything before then?

We have already provided 2018 and 2019 IRS tax transcripts with I-751 filing.

I probably will file our 2020 taxes before applying for citizenship so I will have forms but not the IRS transcript. Based on above responses, it seems I do not need to upload the tax return forms or IRS transcripts; I can simply bring the latest transcript to the interview. Just wanted to confirm.

    Thank you.

  11. I received a transfer notice in the mail mid-December that my case was moved to NBC. That is not correct.

I called the USCIS 1-800 number today. The officer informed me that the case was moved back to Texas Service Center the very next day. Hence the consecutive case status updates on Dec 15th and 16th.

What a mess! I do not expect Texas Service Center to work on my case at all. I will be eligible to file N-400 for citizenship in 35 days. That is my best hope for progress.

Our WAC case out of California was also transferred to the Nations Benefits Center.

I suppose that is better than the case remaining idle. We are still planning on filing a n-400 when we become eligible in May.

If you applied ROC in March 2020 then you should be able to apply for citizenship in March 2021 unless there are residency requirements you have not yet met including living in the US and in marital union.
