  1. I had my interview at the San Francisco office last Friday (April 12th).

The agent didn’t ask us anything about our relationship because we have a baby.

She just wanted to see all my I20s from school (and my lawyer told me to bring just the last one but I had almost all of them), and then some bills/credit card statements.

I got approved on the spot, but the status changed Tuesday morning!

Now I’m waiting to get my green card! It has been shipped yesterday 🙂

    Hey guys,

so I had my interview at San Francisco fo this morning, called in 15min after my appointment time, the officer seemed serious and wasn’t friendly at the beginning but then became nicer while asking questions and she seemed happy with the additional evidence we brought.

She asked normal questions about dating and she wanted to know when and where... then she want over the form and ask yes and no questions. She told me at the end that I was approved and she explained how the conditional gc work.

PS:she asked me for a new medical exam, luckily I did it again when my interview was scheduled !!

Few hours later my status changed to card is being produced!

I am so happy to be finally done with this process.

Good luck to people still waiting !!

    i'm so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I'll have my interview on April 12th.

I was trying to get my most recent I94 but the system doesn't show the most recent entry of last August 2018 (when I used Advance Parole).
The most recent one that the system gives me it is the last time that I came back on a F1 visa in 2016.

I cannot also retrieve my travel history.. the system says "no record found for traveler".

Did this happen to someone else?

    thanks!

You need to show them the GC so that they have evidence to terminate your SEVIS.

Otherwise, they will just keep it as-is in the system.

There was an old pdf about this, when a student files for AOS, they should return the student SEVIS to Initial and keep it that way until your AOS is adjudicated. Once you use the EAD from the AOS, you already violate the non-immigrant status. You can work on CPT.

I cannot work on CPT, practical training is not required for what I'm studying.

And... basically I screwed my F1 status using my EAD and my AP!

yes you can continue going to school. Depending on your school/state it may even be cheaper for you to change your residency if your school considers AOS pending as instate.

I'm attending the CCSF of San Francisco, and they don't care about my status.. they want me to pay as an international student, or to terminate my Sevis in order to be a resident.
