Hey,
i think you may be able to change the interview date online if you ring they can definitely do it
medical and interview were all very smooth and didn’t really take very long either. Just make sure your fiancé has their medical history and vaccinations etc for medical that was the worst thing to get hold of as my doctors took forever:) I was in and out of the medical in an hour and I’m and out of the interview in less than an hour the only questions they asked was
‘how did you meet’
’where are you going to live’
all very straightforward:)
Oh nice! Yes, his old GP died and he did not follow through to get a new one. So what should he do? We can find a private doc. So what shots should be up to date before medical appt? Yes, I read somewhere that we could change the date, and that the embassy is pretty easy to work with. So now that you have made it this far, what part would you say was the worst part of the process? Getting the NOA2? This is very helpful

@EllyNelly I am not sure, but I just received the email. You got approved a day or so before I did. Did you call them? I have not contacted anyone since my NOA2. I worked myself up so much that I needed the break.
@Meisha&Jake @EllyNelly @BnK I just got this but I didn’t ask for it to be expedited. Is it just protocol?
The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in LONDON, GRBR approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your immigrant visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in LONDON, GRBR for their action. The Embassy/Consulate General will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview.
If you have questions about your visa interview, please visit the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General's website at https://usembassy.gov.

Hello @ToniAnn ... Hope everything going smooth with ypu on your NVC phase
@BnK I literally just received from NVC
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiance(e)'s approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in LONDON, GRBR. The U.S. Embassy will contact your fiance(e) when they are ready to schedule a visa interview.
So @Meisha&Jake about how long after receiving this email does it get to London? I assume I’ll get another email to confirm?
Thanks

I actually laughed at "oh but wait... There is none!!" even though it's not funny... just most likely true. Is this your first time filing? Any criminal record concern? If not you should be fine and you will get your approval soon. For me I'm just overly worried now because it's my second time filing and I don't know if they are trying to deport my ex before moving forward with my case. I find myself coming up with all kinds of things that could be making my case complicated
@EllyNelly I too got this email this morning ..
We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time
We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on April 9, 2018.

Yeah! The medical is valid for 6 months so aslong as you fly out with your K1 Fiancè visa when you have it before your 6 months of medical date ends, your good!
Okay as we are pushing for a later medical and interview as well

Get your shots anywhere you wish. NHS may do them free. Can go to a travel clinic, Boots, Sainsbury's. Just get documentation of the shot, your name, date.
This guide is old and links are broken, procedure changed, but the shot info is still accurate.
Thank you.. I am just asking for my beneficiary

Great news @Meisha&Jake. Perhaps a July interview, and a later POE? Congratulations!

Hey, your partner is the one getting the ACRO right? Copies of these documents are only required if someone is applying for the ACRO on behalf of your partner.
So if he's filling the application in himself, he won't need it, just the other documents stated on the list.
Thanks for letting me know

October 2017 I-129F Filers, Part III
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
If they cannot locate his files can he just go to a private doctor and have the check up etc done? He is not the best with medical anything.. sigh! This way we will have a doc who is available and can submit the information as requested. POE was difficult? How so? I am glad the interview was brief. I am sure that by the time it makes it to London it is more about formalities at that time. I just don't want it to be hectic for him. I am sure we can figure out the medical part
