    Another city or another province?

do you use japan postal’s forwarding system?

they don’t update the system and it ends up going to the old address. You can wait and when your case gets “ready” at NVC you can mail to the embassy about the change. Or (what I did) I changed nothing and they sent to my old address and it got forwarded to my new address. It reached me the next day. And when filling ds- 160 and interview appointment I put my new address.

i moved from Kanagawa to Tokyo.

    It is highly country specific.

The first part about address change is correct for any embassy.
If you have an address change and your embassy is sending packet 3 by post, then you need to contact them to change the address. (In Japan postal services are extremely well and forwarding system works perfectly with 1 day delay. So trying to contact embassy actually delays the process. so it was not necessary)

If your embassy does not send anything by mail, you can correct the address on ds-160 and interview appointment. As sending the passport and the packet will be the only time they will need this.

Nov 14 old website and Nov 16th new
Still have yet to see any movement on our case. Sorry this isn't a happy post. I've just been reading so many people's posts about feeling awful while waiting and wanted to share that you guys are not alone. While I am genuinely happy for everyone who has gotten approved, it does sting a little that people who applied after us have already been approved. I know it's not anyone's fault but USCIS, it just sucks nonetheless. To all the people posting how down they feel, please try to hang in there. I know what it feels like to wake up every morning and the first thing I do is check our status and every morning has been a disappointment. Im just trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, that we are so close. Just hang on a little longer and soon we will all be reunited with the people we love. Every single day that passes is one day closer to being together. I keep telling myself that if my fiance and I can survive 8 years of long distance, we can get through anything USCIS throws our way, that in the grand scheme of things this will feel like the blink of an eye years down the road. It is always so hard when you are passing through the storm to remember what clear skies looked like, but try to hold onto each other. I truly believe that love conquers all. Im trying to look at this part of our lives as another hurdle we have to pass. Every day that passes that we don't receive that approval letter has been more and more difficult, I've cried the past couple of months more than I have my whole life. I know that if we can get through this, we can make it through anything. So, sorry for this long sappy post that was really just about my current mood. I just hope it helps other people here to know that you are not alone in feeling this way. We will all get through this and hopefully this week will be our week. Sending all of you love and hugs from one miserable November filer to another.

So i just called USCIS and spoke to a Tier 2 officer as im extremely frustrated... very interesting phone call basically to cut it short and simple i spoke to her about their website stating that they process cases in order received.. Which she replied thats correct.  I then replied well if that is the case please explain to me how people at the end of November are being approved before the beginning and how 2 cases before and after our case have been approved.

She then said how do you know this information. I told her that we are on a forum and on Facebook and people post their WAC numbers and there is an app that scans for WAC numbers and that it lists them with approvals and dates of approvals.  So then she started typing and seemed very shocked that we was aware of this happening and did not really have much to say... Think we caught them out at their little game

Can’t understand the reason on why is the processing not arrange according to date  Im happy for those who already have their approvals but it feels unfair for those who filed first

Meanwhile over at USCIS it appears they are having some issues trying to get used to their new computer system.

Changing passports won't help at all. They have all her info in their systems. Including all her travels.

Yes she can be denied entry. Everyone can be denied entry if border officers will find something they think is suspicious.  Approved ESTA doesn't guarantee entry to the USA.

I’m from Japan. We might have our NOA2 mid-May based on visaJourney’s timeline.

Unfortunately, fiancé visas are not being processed in as little as four months right now.. not even close. You’ve got a bit of a wait ahead of you. You’ve already been shown the current processing times chart. If you would like to get a specific estimate you can create a timeline on here and it will show a date range for when you can expect your NOA2. They are currently processing August and have slowly started a little of September, so being that you filed in November you should not really be expecting your NOA2 any time in the next few weeks. Sorry about that I know it’s hard! We filed two months before you in September and are still waiting and my timeline is showing I shouldn’t expect an NOA2 for another 4 weeks.

Our NoA1 was on Oct 2, 2017 and we're also still waiting on the NoA2. Going off of the timeline estimation this site gives we shouldn't expect anything until mid-April.
