Oct 11 2017 Filer! and our case just got approved today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! been waiting for this day!!

All driver's license issues vary by state as state law dictates the requirements for obtaining a driver's license. Some states, like mine, have different types of licenses depending on legal status, such as a Driver's Privilege Card which doesn't count as a form of legal identification, except for driving purposes, for those that can't establish legal status. Information can generally be found on your specific state's Department of Public Safety or equivalent agency website. The easiest way to track it down would be to search "how to obtain a (state) driver's license."

Just got email approved. 222 days. I hope many others have the same good luck soon.

Well I am trying to do that however that means going through about 120000 cases to figure out the numbers so it will take a little bit more...

Got married today! ♡ Off to our honeymoon then plan to file AoS after this weekend. 

Getting ready for tomorrow’s interview. Way more nervous than I expected to be and I’m the USC!   We may have an issue with our Philippines police certificates (NBI). They are good for a year for the Philippines but the US Embassy prefers they are no older than 6 months. Rose’s are 22 days over the 6 months and AJ’s is 11 days over the 6 months.  It may be an issue or they may cut us a little slack. Either way we can’t change it now.  We got the certificates when we still thought we were looking at a 3 to 4 month approval wait. In hindsight, we should have updated everything when we got approved.  Oh well. It’s off to bed for a 3:00 AM wake up call!!!

I'm sorry this has happened.  One thing I caught is that you called him hubby.  Are you already married?  If so, you got a denial because you filed I-129f per your timeline.

Any updates for anyone? I wish I was with my SO today, celebrating our anniversary. Jeeeez, if USCIS had pulled their finger out a couple of months ago, we would be married by now. 

I don’t know 100% but I can find out my sister Inlaw came here on a k1 visa and I know she got her drivers license right After her and my brother got married because he bought her a car for Christmas and it was like a week after they got married but I just don’t know if when she received it if they had already filed for the green card but I will try and remember to ask her . Don’t know if that helps

Ive just been thinking, i was on a F1 student visa i know that to get a driving license i had to show my I-20 so that they could put on a End date on the  drivers license so it expired the same time my stay did. How do i go about getting a license once i enter on my K1 visa? I cant imagine i would have to wait till I've applied for my green card, right? 

Holy moly guys...september 1st, 2017 NOA 1 date here...finally received my NOA 2 approval yesterday.  Around 220 days of waiting LOL.  Thank GOD hope everyone the best of luck in this process.  
 
Also I remember there was a useful link on what to do after the NOA approval steps but I cant seem to locate it.  Can anyone send me the info if you guys have it handy.  Thank you so much.  Coming here and reading everyone's progress has been a great help to past these 7 months.  I hope everyone gets the good news and be with their loved ones soon.
