Hello Everyone,  First i would like to thank  you all from this Forum. We started this journey with some of you back in March 2018. Many of you have helped me with questions and I'd like to think i helped some as well My wife had her Consular Interview today in POS Trinidad and was approved. She said the interview  lasted 5 mins (at most). Thank God this journey is about to be over.
 
For those of you still in the wait- keep faith, follow the process and it will happen. Take your time when submitting documents. You may read some of my past posts on mistakes i made in the NVC phase. ( i literally submitted a document rotated 90 degrees incorrectly smh) Non the less- all learning experiences. I am no Immigration lawyer but thank God was able to go through this entire process without having to hire one. This happened with the help from this Forum and God's Grace.

Congrats!!! I am quite surprise when I got an email as well . Hubby’s interview is first week of April!!! Cc Feb 22

Update: I got interview email letter today just 6 days after Case complete:

I finally got all my documents approved by NVC. Once they have confirmed interview date , they will email me again. I am happy and grateful to God. Now is the final step and last waiting game..Mexico is taking looooong to issue the interviews ( 7-10 months I hear). But we have gotten this far already, we are almost there!! Good Luck to all!! 🍀🍀🍀

Mine and my husbands true journey is just beginning!

My CR1 visa was ISSUED today. 
Praise be !!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
 
Our I-130 was received on March 22nd 2018, 
so today March 11th 2019 we see the fruits of our hard labour!
 
I really want to thank EVERYONE who has helped me here on Visa journey.
Honestly guys I would have been so lost and discouraged in this process if not for you.

I want to encourage anyone who is still waiting or just starting the process to keep the faith! It happens. The journey does come to an end. A very good end !

I got the same email and that is considered as case complete. We got another email about 2 weeks later with a scheduled interview date, time and information about getting to the embassy, setting up a courier and getting our medical done.
 
Your longer wait may be because of interview availability. I think it is generally slower in India than in some other countries, but others from India may be able to share their experience. Or you can look for similar timelines.
