1. You are still hooked in terms of i864 commitments that you signed. No more sponsorship required for i751 though.
2. He cannot lift conditions on his own if you two remain married or even remain separated.
3. He can lift conditions on his own if divorced.

So therefore I am stuck with being his sponsor for the next 10 years unless he decides to change it. He has every right now but I have no rights in this as an american citizen.

1. He doesn't need you to complete his removal of conditions. He can do it on his own with a divorce waiver.
2. You cannot be removed as his sponsor until he has attained citizenship, gained 40 quarters of work credit, lost his status and departed the US, or has died.
3. If you have solid evidence of fraud, you can report it to USCIS. But remember that you have already provided a LOT of evidence that the relationship is bona fide.
i honestly have a child with this man and we just do not get along. I do not want to ruin his life but do not want to be his sponsor because he is very irresponsible. This is so difficult.

Hello All,
I am trying to find out what to do if I feel like now my husband may have come here under false pretenses. He and I have not been doing well and I am not wanting to go through with lifting the conditions for his green card. Can I get removed as being his sponsor? Does he still need me to go through with lifting the provisions? He is trying to go through with it but can he do that and I be removed? Very emotional times so please be nice.

My husband and I have been married now almost two years in May and was wondering if we can bring his son here from the Dominican to visit, before we file the removal of conditions petition. What petition would we need to file to have his son visit us for a few weeks?
The confusion I think he and I are having is we had already provided them with his sons birth certificate during the fiancé visa interview and other required documents needed. Is there another petition that we need to file other than a tourist visa? As we want him to be able to visit every few months.

Did you expedite? Did you apply for both EAD and AP? or just EAD? btw CONGRATULATIONS!
We filed everything at the sane time, tried to expedite the ead but they somehow lost the paperwork that they requested for us to send. We received and rfe regarding my taxes for this year and we sent that a day later. We called about the expedite paperwork friday and the rep said they did not receive anything from us. Checked this morning and noticed the updates. I believe the travel document doesnt get received until after the interview, would anyone know?

Does anyone know of any sample letters on expediting an ead due to death? My husbands father passed away suddenly due to cancer and we requested for an expedite because his mother is not able to financially take care of the home on her own and she is also sick and they are awaiting biopsy results. His son's mother in the Dominican is not working and is now pregnant by her husband who is also not working. His father and he agreed that he would assist with his son financially while he awaited his EAD but now that he has passed his son is not getting the proper care he needs. USCIS has asked for proof of your extreme emergent need. The documents that we have are proof of his dad's passing (death certificate) and a translated copy. Do we need anything else?

His son's mother in the Dominican is not working and is now pregnant by her husband who is also not working. Do we need a elongated letter explaining this or can we just send the death certificate and a few bullet points of how this is affecting us financially? Please help as I am loss on how to write this letter to USCIS.

If USCIS is requesting for a translated copy in english does it need to be certified?

Has anyone recieved this response in regards to an expedite of a work request, and what does it mean:
Type of service requested:
-- Expedite
The status of this service request is:
Recently, you contacted us about your application. Your application is currently in suspense until you appear for your biometrics. You may request expeditious processing again once we have received your biometrics.

Nope! They keep them. The results are going to be on your file when you get to the enterview.
But isnt there a form called i693 that we need to fill out for proof of vaccinations or do we have to get them done over again here in the states

Did you call and ask as well?
All I am a bit confused. My fiance is here and he told me that the United States customs took his envelope with his vaccinations in it. Is this normal and dont we need it for the adjustment of status phase.
