I received my NOAs (for AOS and AED) yesterday and went straight to the DMV. They turned me down for the 3rd time, after exhaustive explanations
about my case and forms in hand. I then emailed the Ombudsman of FL - DMV (I found the link on the official Florida DMV site) last night and I just
received a phonecall this morning telling me that I was right after all. So, I'm taking my learner's test this afternoon (arranged by the Ombudsman).
I would suggest that you e-mail DMV officials.
Most of the time people behind the DMV desk do not know about our legal presence, our immigration status, etc.
    Hope this helps.

Hey just so you’re all aware my case changed from ready to application received and then this afternoon it changed to administrative processing again!! Next stop is “issued” 😃. @Andy davies did you hear anything new on your case today?
Looks like London are one of the fastest

    Thanks for the tip!

Im probably being super dumb but when I log in to the CEAC tracker, I select immigrant and then at the top it says non- immigrant visa application. That what it has said since Monday. Is that what you mean? Or should I be looking somewhere else?
  5. Thanks

The I-134 (and supporting evidence) is presented at the interview, not filed.

gabriele85_k1 reacted to JFH in Knightsbridge (London) - Nightmare
When you go to Knightsbridge you will find that they are a lot more relaxed about things in person. I have had a brain hemorrhage and have been left with epilepsy and partial paralysis as a result. They didn't want to know about any of that. They were more interested in whether I'd ever smoked, how much I drink and whether I'd ever in my life even considered recreational drugs. I brought my whole neurology file with me. It didn't make it out of my bag.  I recall a poster some years ago whose husband had MS and his visa was approved with no issues.

Its a formailty. Nothing more. It's so that the embassy can check a box to say "this person does not pose a public health risk".

gabriele85_k1 reacted to Mr Geminian in K1 additional vaccinations after medical examination for AOS
The final vaccinations sheet should look like this.......You will still have to find a local USCIS Civil Surgeon and make him fill the I-693. Take all the proofs of your vaccinations from other doctor as well as you medical exam done for K-1 interview which is the DS-3025 and all they will do is transfer details onto I-693. There are a lot of doctors who will take lot of money but you will find a USCIS who will take as low as $35 or $40 to prepare the I-693. Check the VJ forum where you can find a USCIS doctor for low price in the state you reside. Note: You DO NOT need another physical exam.

gabriele85_k1 reacted to Wuozopo in UK Vaccinations for K1
    Yes. Easier. Cheaper.

You only need the adult shots. Influenza is an adult shot. Skip the rest. You will pay a USCIS designated civil surgeon in the US to sign off on vaccinations since you will not have clearance on Varicella marked on your visa medical form. It's hard to find one who won't insist on doing the entire medical over again, even though USCIS accepts your visa medical for AOS.

If you want accurate information then ring Boots on the phone and ask.

I just received (on the 18th) my NOA2. As far as I know now the USCIS should send my case to the NVC.
Do you think that the government shutdown will affect me?
    Thanks

NVC should be fine...  As for the Embassy?  your guess as good as anybody's.  Some Embassies have more fee income than others...  no hard and fast answer, no way to predict
