221g for medical at Interview question

Hi I’m hoping someone can help me. I had my medical on February 24th 2018 at Knightsbridge In London and I had my interview today March 12th. My visa was approved but I was given a 221g as they still don’t have my medical results. I’m slightly concerned as I rang Knightsbridge and they said they have already sent it. The embassy won’t issue or send me my visa until they have received it. What should I do? 

Could the bad weather in the uk last few weeks have delayed it or is it even possible my medical results have been lost by the middle man? I would appreciate someone’s help with what I should do next as my medical has apparently been posted but the embassy say they haven’t received it with a space of 2.5 weeks between!!

Hello! Welcome to my WORLD! I had the interview the 21st FEB 2018. Knightsbridge sent my medical the 26th FEB. I was in AP withe same blue form you have I assume saying "medical reports " You need to ask knightsbridge for the date and then go from there. My status today went from AP to READY again so I assume they got the Medical report and processed that part. You will probably have to wait around 2- 3 weeks for them to allocate your file and medical report as other people told me it just goes to the "to do list" and isn't a priority for the Embassy etc. Have you checked the ceac status ? Once you get an exact date that the DR sent it over, count from there. But I feel your frustration

@Andy davies thanks for you’re quick reply! When was your interview? How long did you have to wait after your interview when you got the blue form until it changed? 

Did you ever get a reason why it took so long? Do you think it was the weather? 

So I should ring up Knightsbridge tomorrow and ask what date they sent it? And then do I basically just have to wait for ceac to change? I checked today after my interview and it Just says administrative processing!!

@Andy davies sorry didn’t read you had your interview 21st feb! Why did Knightsbridge send yours after your Interview! I’m slightly different in that after my interview today Knightsbridge said they had already sent it! So I hoping I won’t have to wait the unfortunate time you did!

@theirishman @Andy davies ahhhh!! Now im worrying - i had my medical at Knightsbridge on 23rd February and my interview is this Friday (16th) ! I purposely left a good amount of time between the two so that Knightsbridge would have time to send my details over.... Can I call them and find out if they've sent my details before I go to my visa interview on Friday?

My interview is on Friday too!  At 10.30am. What time is yours? 

 

Mine also says it was last updated on the 8th March. My medical was on the 6th March. I'm going to call them this morning and check to see if they've sent it.

You’ll be fine. I was also given the dreaded blue form. 

there was only exactly a week between my medical and interview. My medical was on the 23rd Feb and interview on the 2nd March. Knightsbridge sent it to the embassy the day before my interview, (some 4 days after my medical) but come the Friday of my interview, the embassy hadn’t processed it onto their system. My fiancé and I had our interview the day of the bad weather. 

Checking the ceac website, it looks like it was updated on Monday 5th March. 

After my interview it went to “administrative processing” then to “ready”, back to “administrative processing” and now “issued.”

I rang up Knightsbridge just now and they sent they sent my medical yesterday and said that because of the bad snow they had issues getting the blood results from the courier. so my medical was only sent the day of my interview which is a bummer but at least i know sometime this week hopefully the embassy will now do whatever they have to do.

I would advise all of you to get the exact date sent from Knightsbridge prior to your interview. Then when you are with the interviewer and are told medical not received, you can say "I know it arrived here [x] days ago. Is there somewhere you can check for it?" At least you will feel better knowing you had that specific information instead of walking out feeling like a lost bunny. Don't leave the building without asking all the questions you have. They won't bite. Nice people.

I rang this morning, they said it's just waiting to be signed off, which will take 24 hours, then another day to be couriered. Cutting it fine...No idea what the update on ceac on the 8th March was :-/

Yep this is my thinking too. Tell them I don't mind waiting while they go find it and enter it! If mine gets there that is.

Knightsbridge were terrible for me. Gave me the whole 'no news is good news' thing. Then it wasn't sent to the embassy for my interview. Then they 'lost' my medical and they paid for me to come and have a second medical done.

 

I would recommend calling Knightsbridge multiple times to check they have sent it.
