Okay Okay okay!!!!! So all that waiting paid off!!
I was on my way to drop my son off at daycare this morning and I was debating the whole time if I should call USCIS just for the heck of it!
Man I am glad I did!
After about 45 minutes they called back asked a bunch of questions and the tier 2 officer said You guys were approved yesterday September 4th and the letter was mailed out as well!!!!!!!!!!
 
Ummm Omg the feeling is AMAZING!

NOA2: Sept 4

OMG yay so happy for you guys! That Is exactly what happened to us as well! I called this morning and was told we were approved Sept 4th!! How exciting!

So I just got off the phone with tier 2 and he said we were approved September 4th !!
 
I still feel so in disbelief, I want to see concrete proof ! No updates on either website, no email or texts.
 
NOA1: Feb 15th ( old ) Feb 19th ( new )
NOA2: Sept 4th
 
Good luck to everyone waiting - and perhaps call and ask for tier 2 because maybe you have a silent approval !!

Talked to Tier 2 agent this morning, he was short and on to the point. He had one answer to all my questions: "there is no decision made in your case, CSC is currently processing February 2nd filers, we will let you know when decision is made"

So I called uscis today, first time 😀 spoke to Tier 2 gentleman who was nice and jovial. He said they have not received my background yet, he encouraged me to call back next Monday for status. I am hopeful we will get a response soon.

Got through to a Tier 2 today, he said that our case is in the background check stage still. I dont know how to feel... I'm happy that someone has touched our case and its in process, but scared it'll be in background stage forever. Our NOA1 date is received Feb 5th, notice Feb 9th so its been nearly 6 months 3 weeks now. I wish there was a tracker we could watch and keep up with, like with domino's pizza 🤣

My lawyer was well well informed that I have a criminal record and was previously married. I was under the Assumption about criminal record was about the beneficiary since it’s technically right after all the questions about the beneficiary. So I had to send them an amended form with certified copy of divorce decree and certified copies of my criminal record.

Ok. Broke down cus seeing everyone calling and getting approved made me curious.
Most of u are aware my case is let’s call it “special”. So my reasoning for calling was to see if they had received or amended petition. Which I was informed they don’t need see anything showing up around April for a amendment.
 
The lady then said.
 
The last notification on ur case was August 14th for a request for evidence. 🎊🎈🎊🎈🎊
yes im happy. Cus if they never received our amendment we could of been denied due to lawyer being a dumba$$. 
Hopefully it will show up anytime now. Even tho she did state it takes 15 to 30 days to receive.

My petitioner called uscis and they told us that we are approved..!! Allamduillah:) i m sooo much happy..!! 

I am panicking I cried!
I’ve seen people with 230 days and still no answer. People from December and still they didn’t approved RFE. People with 270 days... and no there’s nothing wrong with their petition!
Why are they doing this? I am so scared 😭
I don't want to be one of those people waiting for such a long time. Me and my fiance have a baby!!!!! 😩
I need to vent but I know complaining won't change anything
 

All people are same species, and are not different from each other. It just becomes easier to see the flaws in system in the modern connected world.  Find a way to fix it? That the problem, we have to dance to the tune of the system that we have very little control over (voting is one way). System that intentionally made arcane, complicated, and basically serves to feed bureaucratic machinery, and at the same time holds keys to our possible happily-ever-afters in its inhumane clutches. We can take all personal responsibilities in the world for our relationships, and personal mistakes, but that doesn't change the fact we are faced with impenetrable black box machine that holds the rest of our lives hostage. 
 
To end on more positive note, congratulations to all you lucky February files getting your approvals! 

I'm shaking! We were approved! I received an email this morning saying they have taken action on our case - approved!!! My fiancé (US petitioner) has not received any texts or anything. I am the beneficiary who signed up for an account on the new site.

NOA2: August 21
 
Wow! I am beyond thrilled. Just so everyone knows, my fiancé has a very common last name, we didn't send passport stamps in our petition (I did send lots of boarding passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, 6-10 photos printed on regular printer paper), we met online and I didn't include the DOS or terms (but I did mention the website name and that it was a blogging website).

My NOA1 was February 6. I got very dismayed as a saw a flurry of approvals for people with that date and after that date come in last week. I got even more depressed as our VJ timeline date came and went. 
 
This morning, I received an envelope from DHS and opened it to find my NOA2 dated to August 16. I was shocked!!! I had signed up for email and text alerts and had been religiously checking the new and old UCICS websites--none of them ever said that our case had been approved. Even now, the only notification is via snail mail. Not really sure why I was not informed digitally as requested, but maybe other people out there have NOA2s in the mail and don't even know it yet.

This is true, also, there is someone from January thread that got approved today and received email notification. We previously thought they only send notifications during the night for previous day's approval.

Woke up to the email we've been waiting for!!! 
We've been approved! 😄
Old Website: February 12
New Website: February 16
P.S. It's only updated on the new website, not the old website, nor the app I have called "Case Tracker" (it's probably linked to the old website). 
180 days exactly!
Now to prepare for what's next...Is there a different topic trend for this? 🙃

I just wanted to add to the positivity thread by letting you all know we were approved on Aug. 15! The new site submitted date shows Feb. 12. Those of you who are still waiting please stay positive! It will happen! Yaay!
