Hi, my expedite request was approved on Aug. 23. Called USCIS on Aug. 6, received the RFE on Aug. 13 and faxed the evidence on Aug. 14. Separately I also contacted the local congresswoman, which I think might help as well. I didn't submit any financial docs, W2 or letter from my employer. I just said in the cover letter that it is a rare job opportunity and the possibility of losing the job would cause severe financial loss to me since I'll have to spend a few more months looking for another job without any income. Hope this helps!

I called USCIS on Aug 6, received the letter on Aug 13, faxed the docs on Aug 14, contacted local congresswoman and got her office’s response on Aug 17. 

That may be how it was worded, I didn't see the actual page. It's whatever it says when it's ready for an interview, and it says they will get a notice in the mail once one has been scheduled. So probably the same thing! I know it doesn't mean an interview will happen right away... but usually means a RFE isn't coming, which is what we are happy about.

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that we got approved! I got an email from USCIS stating that they have taken an action on our case. I signed in the new website and the first thing I saw was that our case was approved! No update on the old website or the app.

NOA2: March 27.

Hi guys! We just called NVC and got the case number (NOA March 27)! The website states that our case is in transit to the Consular and my interview date was provided to me by NVC. Any idea what this means? Will the consular assign the interview date instead of me picking one myself? Many thanks!
