I am sure that it seems like an eternity to go through the AOS process. It can be somewhat time consuming.

When you get your card, you can pat each other on the back, for a job well done. Then, you will have an eighteen month well-earned respite from USCIS. :dancing:

During this "vacation" from USCIS remember to start collecting all of the evidence to be able to show USCIS in the next round, ROC, that you have an honest-to-goodness marriage, by way of marriage bonafides. I mention this now, so that you can set aside a shoe box of something similar, where you can start saving the important ROC evidence. It is this step that you will likely get an extensive lesson in exercising patience. At the present time, ROC adjudication is taking about fifteen months.:wow:

So enjoy your vacation and start preparing for later on, but enjoy the time away.....

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Wow! So much information, thankyouuu big time. Yes for sure I will enjoy the vacation from USCIS, lol. 🥰

Yep, sounds pretty normal. Your case could be "under review" or Administrative Processing (AP) for an unable to determine time. It will be done when USCIS has completed their review, there is no set limit.  Read a couple of the myriad of similarly-themed threads in the K1/K3 AOS Progress Forum for more information.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Okay sounds great. Thankyou 😊 I’m just so impatient and excited for it. 🤣

Quick question, does anyone know if Pampanga CFO is still taking walk-ins?

Yes they’re still walk ins. Just arrived atleast an hour before the said schedule because it’s a first come first served basis :) They’re just accepting 12 people every session I believe.

So as Greenbaum stated ...  you do not need a transit visa as long as you stay in the concourse area and are continuing travel to the USA.

Thankyou sir :) Big help 😊

  6. I would like to ask about Transit Visa in Vancouver Canada. For example my flight is from Hongkong——YVR———Seattle, it is really a requirement to obtain a transit visa in Canada even though it’s just a connecting flight with a 4hrs lay over? K1 visa holder here 😊

How do we check to see if the visa is ready for pickup at the 2GO center? They didn’t really explain this part to us after we were told we were approved. I tried various sites but they are say invalid information. Any idea?  Thanks.

You will receive a txt from 2go that your visa is ready for pick up :) Just wait for the txt.

Jesicca was asked that on Sept 7th  Manila CFO.

She just verbally explained that we had permission,  her mom and I talked, and I talked with mom again with messenger and had taken screenshot of again mentioning that I have permission to marry Jesicca.

Jesicca did not bring the proof to CFO  but we did have proof..

And Jesicca's age is 24, so it's in the age group where they ask.

Just thought I would add to that since it came up.

Ohh I see. Thankyou for this info :) I will take my CFO at Clark, I don’t see if they require it but I’m making sure about it.

In the Philippines an attorney has to notarize.     (also make copies of your parent's ID .. CFO can be picky on some of this)

Ohh okay okay thankyou sir :)
