Anyone know what the next step is? i need to wait for juarez interview, any idea of how long?

Now they send your keys to NVC and you have to wait for that and for NVC to issue you a case number and invoice number. My case was just sent to NVC on Monday and it’s been 3 weeks since my approval.

more details on this stage are here:

Sooooo, im finally done with my medical. Thank God! However, i got worried when I saw my medical results (I saw unintentionally it when I signed it) it says "class B on full remission" does this mean redflags for my case? I'm under IR1 petition, been married for almost 3YRs and I admitted to try pot 3yrs ago. My embassy is here in the Philippines, so any one on the same situation as I am? Im worried sick, my interview date is moving closer. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

See this page maybe it will help

    Hi,

We are about to mail our package to NVC but are confused about two specific questions:

    1) for the translated documents, should we submit the original translation or just a copy (knowing that for the embassy we would need to bring the original copy)

    2) Do we also send with the package a photocopy of the passport of our baby (who is a US citizen) and who will be immigrating with us.

thank you very much in advance

Does your baby have a CRBA? Or was he/she born in the US. I wouldn’t include the passport but their birth certificate with both parents name is a good evidence to include.

Thats good that you did ur research. Well in my documents that I submitted to NVC yes i have sent some documents such as My US bank account statement , my brother wrote a letter that we are going to stay in his house, i have contacted some shipping companies for quotation through email and just printed their replies, wrote a letter that I am going to move before or same time as applicant and copy of my SSN and DL thats all. The officer didn't ask any of those in his interview tho. Good 🤞

How long have you been living outside of the US? I’ve been gone 10 years 😐

    Hi VJ Friends,

We have completed our case by this morning after our approval interview. ☺️

I just want to say something to you, PLEASE don't trust any advice from lawyer as you always can call and ask USCIS for any question. I  was told by lawyer that since I am living with my husband outside of the US I can't be a petitioner OR at least 6 months before applicant's interview i have to move to US which is impossible for that period of time, so I called and asked USCIS and today I still live with my husband and he got approval so everything is POSSIBLE 🙆 good luck to all of you.

I contacted a lawyer before I started our process as well. I’m living abroad with my husband. The lawyer told me the same thing. He said I can’t do it and I should just wait until I “move back” to the USA. I’m so glad I continued to research and my I-130 was approved two weeks ago. 😀

just curious, did you prove that you maintained your domicile or that you had intent to re-domicile? I’m not sure I have enough evidence to show I maintained domicile.  I might have to take the 2nd route.

    Also CONGRATULATIONS!

Are you currently in Saudi? If not and you are not a Saudi national it’s not possible to get a police certificate. And the DOS says so on the website.

Here is the link for the website that explains more detail depending on your situation.

  7. I am in the process of gathering documents for NVC.

When I go to the IRS Website to order Tax transcripts it gives me the option for a paper copy in the mail or a second option of having them e-mail. Of course by e-mail would be quicker and easier, I could just print and submit. I just want to make sure that theres no difference and NVC will still accept the printed e-mail versions.

    Thanks guys!

The date of my PD in my NOA 1 and NOA 2 (hard copy) says December 1st and approval date is May 18,2018. But in USCIS new website says my PD is December 4th and approval date is May 22nd.

Congratulations on your approval. We had the same approval date. My PD was Dec 1 as well. I’d go with whatever date is on your official paper copy. When I received my NOA 2 it says December 1st. The website said the 5th always.

  9. Hey everyone! My husbands I130 was just approved and we are trying to gather all the final paper work to submit at the NVC stage. I know we need police reports for all the places he lives more than 6 months after 16. He’s a Canadian citizen who once lived in Saudi Arabia with his parents and graduated high school there and left. In my research it seems impossible to get a police report as a foreigner not in Saudi Arabia.

I found this on the DOS website saying “exceptions”

Exceptions:  Police clearances are unavailable for third country nationals who no longer reside in the Kingdom.  They are also unavailable for third country nationals who are not legal residents.

Does this mean that he won’t need to obtain it? Will printing this and bringing to the interview and/or submitting with our NVC packet be sufficient. Does anyone have experience with this?

    i don’t want any surprises
