Our Attorney suspects that this Officer just got chewed-out for approving one he shouldn't have, and is taking it out on us.  A letter...showing my sponsoring wife has authority to pick up my 17-year-old at school...I mean, come on!  I guess...just have it ANYWAY...imagine the look on your Interviewer's face, if you're asked for this impossible issue, when you PRESENT it!!!  Bwahahaha!

Hopefully you can learn from our horrid experience, and bring the child’s Authorized sign-out list from the school....🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

We received our K1 and K2 EAD and AP cards today!!  So happy.

Got our card in the mail yesterday. She's beyond stoked, already planning a short comeback to LTU, before we start moving with our plans to move to CA. Whew. 

We were now notified the EAD and AP card has been mailed and should call if we don't receive it by August 14.

Smart move!!    Glad all went well!
 
I keep telling people if they showed up after SLEC opened instead of standing in line since 4AM that they would still be done early.

Oh wow!! Congrats and good luck!! You got your case number 2 days later than mine though. I hope our case will be sent out soon! 

I just called, my case was entered literally a few minutes ago.  So we have our case number, waiting for email in a few short days.  Very pleasant on the phone.

First time posting, but long time reader of this site.  Thank you everyone for all your updates.  I think I share others frustration with how difficult it is to get status of this process.   I wanted to share my experience getting our MNL case number.
 
We received our NOA2 via email notification on August 8th, and in the mail a few days later.  I read several posts about which number to call and wasted tons of time on hold.  The best way I found to get the MNL# was to use the website, ASKNVC.

On 08/21 I called 603-334-0888 at 7pm west coast time, and waited 30 seconds to speak to Angus.  Who was polite, asked if I was calling about K-1 via, and told me they hadn't received it yet.  He suggested using the AskNVC since they are working to respond to that FIRST. 
 
Sure enough this morning I received a email with my MNL Case # and my fiance's beneficiary ID#. 

I just wanted to share my experience and dates, and hopefully help other avoid some of the stress of calling and calling and calling.

NOA2 on August 9th here. We'll start calling on Monday and see what's what.

So I just called the NVC this morning and they still haven't received it yet.  Today is the 13th calendar day for me so hopefully soon.  Does anyone with a NOA2 date of Aug. 9th have theirs yet?

I say plan your work and work your plan gives you success, even if you want to execute your process down to 22 days.  That was an extreme example that if you use the tools I provided you could get through this with very, very little problems. Trust me, we are all going to do it they we see it and we all do what is comfortable for us and our situation.

Wow you are very fortunate to get to see her more often.  It is very hard going that long without seeing her, but I don't have the money nor the time to fly back and forth that often.  We are just being optimistic that this process should soon be over and that the worst is almost behind us.  Then soon we can spend out lives together and won't have to apart anymore.  I am hoping I will be there by at least the last couple weeks in September to wraps things up with her for the interview, but if sooner the better as I am ready to go now.

Not much longer at least! I totally feel you on the last part, can't wait for the process to be over and she'll be here for good. Yes we are lucky her work allows her to take off chunks at a time, and I had plenty of miles saved up from work travel. I originally thought she could just fly here on her tourist visa and we get married. I should have known better...

Cool!  Are you going back over there soon?  I'm planning on going back over there and attending the interview with my fiancee.  That's why I am ready to get our case number as we haven't seen each other in person since last November.
