Interview scheduled for May 9th  I'm a nervous wreck even scheduling the appointment made me nervous. I think interview day I need to call out  my anxiety isn't good with situations like these.

Ok so i literally just wrote this and checked my status just for the hell of it and we are in READDDYYY omg we xan schedule our interview im so nervous i need to breath lol 

literally just walked back home after 12 hours on the road!
buuuuuut:
the embassy appointment went well and they send out the visa/passport tuesday!!!
initially i wanted to go pick it up but the travel (3 hours in the AM and 5.5 hours back) is too much, so i'll just have them ship it to me...

My fiancee said the process was very smooth, but she had to wait a while. Total time was about 2 hours...

Yes we are still in limbo (transit) but the good news is he is still doing his medical and he has already saw the first doctor and Monday he  will be going to see the second for his x-rays and vaccinations. He will pay the DS-160 fee next week and it takes two days for the calendar to open up so I'm hoping we are in ready status by then. I was thinking maybe they receive them already when there in transit and they just want to read up and get prepared idk lol made sense. I've been speaking to a woman who's fiance recently had his interview and she has been helping me a lot, with advice and the next steps to take. She was approved but he's now in AP because he didn't go with his medical which im trying to avoid so we are doing the medical first. Once that's in his hands we can pay the ds fee and schedule the interview and hopefully if the Embassy Gods allow it we will be in ready.

I really appreciate you two ladies @h&y and @Abena & Kofi You have no idea how much it means to me. This process will truly make you insane and crazy it makes you loose hope and I just dont like it lol.

Correct, that is the purpose of the transcript, however, on my filed tax return it has the word FILED stamped from top to bottom of the page and the first page of each tax return list the date of when I filed. You can only amend the current tax year but cannot amend previous tax years so my 2015-2016 cannot be altered. More importantly, I file my taxes as soon as I get my W2s because my taxes are simple and don't require a lot because I dont have a lot of exemptions. My source of income is derived from my employment and always has. I know what tax forms I'm expected to get each year so I know I never have to amend them. Truthfully, tax information is only something the embassy looks at to make sure a person is reporting their income to the government and not trying to hide how much they make which is why it's more of a requirement for someone who is self employed. I'm just being extra and making sure I leave no stone unturned. 
 
Considering that I will be at the interview, in the last 2 1/2 years of our relationship, I've been to see my fiance a total of 10 times (10th trip is the one next week I'm leaving for to attend the interview), my employment letter showing I exceed poverty levels and my paystubs, I doubt they'll even look at my tax information because I clearly have the financial means to sponsor my fiance. At the Jamaica Embassy, they only scruntize more when the USC is not present and they feel the relationship warrants more proof.  Our relationship doesn't fall in that parameter.

No....this is my checklist I created for myself. I'm including my W2s because I like to front-load and provide as much as possible. I front-loaded our petition when I sent it to USCIS almost a year ago and I'm going to the interview with everything. Rather have it and don't need it than to need it and not have it.

Aww! I totally get it. I’ve even taken a break from the forums since I just can’t believe we’ve come this far to be stuck waiting for appointment availability to open up! But I totally agree with @h&y - that’s what we have to go through when dealing with high fraud countries. I see success stories from low-fraud countries and I think “why, why, whyyyyyyy does it have to be this way??!?” But it is what it is, and it will dirt itself out! Even if it takes longer or a little more drama 🤬. Feel free to pm for more venting!

Asking for everyone to keep their thoughts and prayers for Reni as he journeys to Kingston as we speak to attend his medical exam. He's been on the road since 3am this morning (4am EST) as it is a 3-4 hour commute from his Parish which is on the west side of the island to Kingston which is on the southeast side of the island. His medical exam is scheduled for 8am and of course I've made sure he's ready to go!
 
I will share his experience later in the day after he completes his medical exam.

i am sorry...i mostly lurk here, but we just got back from my fiance interview here in Kiev. We got APPROVED!!! Next step fly her over and get married and file AOS
 
 

We passed the interview but we have to have an NBI AKA done before they release the visa. The midwife at Aira’s birth misspelled Rose’s name!!!  We have to run an NBI report for the misspelled name!!!  Damn. We did pass though. 

Good for you H&E. He will truly look on that as a gift from your heart. Good luck and come back and share the news with us.

Getting ready for tomorrow’s interview. Way more nervous than I expected to be and I’m the USC!   We may have an issue with our Philippines police certificates (NBI). They are good for a year for the Philippines but the US Embassy prefers they are no older than 6 months. Rose’s are 22 days over the 6 months and AJ’s is 11 days over the 6 months.  It may be an issue or they may cut us a little slack. Either way we can’t change it now.  We got the certificates when we still thought we were looking at a 3 to 4 month approval wait. In hindsight, we should have updated everything when we got approved.  Oh well. It’s off to bed for a 3:00 AM wake up call!!!

Just had my x-ray done this morning! My clinic wanted it done before the appointment, and since I got a morning slot for my medical  next week I wanted to get it over with.
 
It was over fairly quick and they gave me a sealed envelope to bring next week. So I’m 100% ready now ☺️

All you could hear was me shouting 🤬😤between the bad internet connection and the stupidity of the questions being asked, the timing out, Atti not having his information handy, not remembering dates and names, the time difference, we were poofed 🤯🤯  
if we can survive the DS 160, we can survive anything else... we are a much stronger couple after that 😂😂😂😂

Medical exam scheduled for April 20th. It was like pulling teeth I wish i could be there to help my poor fiance. His medical is in the neighboring country as will be his interview. So the receptionist tried to tell him to call back when he is in the country LIKE NOOO!! WE NEED AN APPOINTMENT NOWWW!! WE HAVE WAITED 7 MONTHS FOR THIS. But my fiance isn't like me and he hung up and accepted it I made him call back and be assertive now we have an appointment  

If you are still waiting for your NVC# I can tell you we waited 31 days from NOA2 and still survived The best thing you can do right now is prepare your paperwork for the interview. 
 
My fiance had his interview yesterday and we are approved!

So anyone else been contacted by the casting director for “90 day fiancé” ??? Oh my god Stuart and I laughed SO hard and believe me there hasn’t been much laughter the last few days so some light relief was good. I can’t imagine that we would be anywhere near exciting enough for them to really want to cast us  so might just pass on my 5 minutes of fame and settle for a quiet married life instead  🤣🤣🤣
