Hi everyone! And @Naes! 😉 It's good to be back after all this time, I just needed some rest after so intensive use of VJ all these past months…
 
Anyway, here we are waiting again! I sent the paperwork the 28th and it got to USCIS the 30th, so I'm guessing I'll be a September filer and that we'll be getting pretty similar NOA dates😊. I could have sent it like 3 weeks ago, but they wouldn't send me the Marriage Certificate… which in the end they didn't, I ended up going myself to the office to get it 😒. The only thing left for me to do is getting the driver's license, after that it'll be a mostly boring wait again...

May filer here. I received my EAD after 125 days. The green card interview will normally take place after you receive your work permit, unless you live in a city where the local office is moving really fast. 
You can check the processing times on the USCIS website, just search by the location where you had your biometrics taken.

I got the same RFE... and we are not the only ones. After some research, there seems to be something in common… the damn full tax return (or according to them, an incomplete one). They clearly prefer the IRS transcript, if they get too stressed looking at that pile of paper, don't find or understand something, they just send the RFE. Did you also get that generic RFE stating that your spouse's income doesn't meet the 125%, even though it does?
 
 

Hi guys! Glad to see you around once again 🙂. Finally I'm a late August filer, can't wait for all this fun wait again 😒. Anyway, waiting at the moment to go and have the biometrics done. Here's my recent timeline, in case it's of any help to anyone.
 
I-485 / I-765 / I-131 filed: August 28th I-485 / I-765 / I-131 received: August 30th I-485 / I-765 / I-131 e-mails: September 5th I-485 / I-765 / I-131 hard copies: September 10th Biometrics hardcopy: September 14th Biometrics appointment: September 26th

It's probably fine then. We'll have more apportunities to go crazy in the next months, save it for then 😅

I just got the hard copies, so 13 days since I sent the package, 11 days since they received it. The three of them has August 30th as the received date, so I guess I'm an August filer after all…

@Rebecca & Kelvin I wouldn't use the customer copy to file your AOS package, if you do so you'll get a RFE for sure. You need the certified copy. For what I understand you hand-carried the completed marriage certificate (the one completed by the person who married you) to the county office and they told you to wait? That's weird since they should be able to do it that very moment, it literally takes 1 minute. That's what we were told at the county's office, our problem was that the judge wouldn't allow us to hand-carry it there, but once there, if you go there's no reason for them to not do it right there, especially if you explain your situation and say you need it, for immigration purposes, as soon as possible. Maybe they are extremely busy at that office or they just don't wanna bother go out of the "normal" procedure? 🤷‍♂️

Just to let you know guys, I sent the paperwork on August 28 arriving August 30. On September 5 I got the emails. My case status on USCIS website were:
 
I-485: Fingerprint Fee Was Received (September 4) I-765: Case Was Received (August 30) I-131: Case Was Received (August 30)  
I don't really care how long the I-485 takes to be processed, it's the EAD what makes me a little anxious. At least they put it in the system right away...

We are looking at the very real possibility that the old website has been or will be phased out of use. I will continue checking for a few more days, but this could be the end of our scan capabilities and usefulness of the 'old' website.

Hi guys, I'm sorry to say that I'll no longer be able to run the scans. My Internet provider interrupted the service today (I week sooner than I had expected) and so it's not possible for me to use my laptop for such purpose.
 
Someone already offered to continue with the scans so the scanning service should be re-established soon, sorry for the inconvenience 
 
Once again, I wish you guys all the best and to those still waiting an inminent approval. We all will be soon reunited with our loved one and that will make all this wait worth it.

I would gladly continue running them for a few more weeks, if still necessary, but I'll be leaving my current apartment soon (POE in just 10 days!) and my Internet provider will interrupt the service even sooner (I don't know the exact day).
 
I hope this little effort on my end was of any help to all of you October filers, and I also hope that all of you still waiting for an approval get it really soon. It's been an honor to share this journey with such amazing people and, needless to say, I'll see you around for the next stage of the process!
