Spoke to NVC today, and was told my case was received on 5/7, not a pivot case and we should wait ...yep - 8 weeks!  LOL.  I am just glad to be in the next phase of processing. 

I got a notice my case was sent on 5/1, so I was going to wait until end of next week to call NVC to check status.  

You need to think long and hard about whether or not this is a good idea for EITHER of you.

I`m sorry I have read every single suggestion here......This isnt about whether or not USA is/not a freedom country....it almost looks like you are victimizing yourself.
 
There are options out there...you and your husband as a adult couple can seat down and talk whether or not it is beneficial for you guys move to US, or get married in Italy. Whether or not he thinks you cant support or provide finally to you both has nothing to do with K1 or CR1 process, this is a personal issue. 
 
Lets just get down to earth and understand what are your options within your relationship and go from there, USCIS will not change and there are PLENTY of reasons why they require what they require for visa and what not.

Logged into the new USCIS site this morning, and Bam!  We were approved yesterday 4/23!!  I didn't get any sort of email or text notification, and USCIS app still shows in "received" status....So like other people have said, make sure you all are checking the new website!

As you said, it is never a guarantee but it is possible.  My husband has been traveling back and forth on the visa waiver program from the UK.  He stays for 80 days and then returns and resubmits for ESTA again to come back.  So far he has done this twice since we have been married, without issue.  He does get pulled into secondary screening, but he is completely honest with the officer and he is let through.  Just make sure you have your return ticket and any documentation that ties you back to Canada.  Good Luck!

Potomac is processing mid September now... it's getting so close! 

Still patient waiting....Priority date of 10/17.  Last I seen they were processing some in Potomac with Priority dates for September....so getting close!

I am getting excited now too, We are at Potomac which started processing August cases so hopefully just a couple months and we will be starting the next phase of the journey!  Good Luck all, lets keep everyone updated.

I sent my package on October 13. They got it on the 17th of October and I got NOA 1 on October 18th. My case has also been routed to Potomac for processing

Yes Potomac seems be the quicker. I more happy because it's where I met my spouse, where we got engaged and married 😊

Package mailed October 05, received October 10. NAO1 October 12 thought SMS. Check used October 13. Our Document are sent to the Potomac Service center (Arlington). And it's funny because me and my spouse met , got engaged and married in Arlington ❤❤❤
